Grod's guitar stolen!
I am very upset, angry and disappointed to report that overnight my guitar was stolen from my car. The thieves had forced down the passanger window and opened the door. Nothing else was taken. There was money, Cds, even a mini-telly, my kids show props, costume and clothes. The guitar was on the top of all these in the back seat. Only the guitar was taken. The guitar was my Yamaha acoustic which I had been using to busk un-amplified, something I was legally allowed to do. It is also the guitar that I used for my kids shows. I may be jumping to conclusions, but it seems a very cynical theft. The Police have been notified. My belief is that both the court case I had to take out to try and overturn the ban, plus the publicity I have gained in fighting the ban has made my private address public knowledge. None of this would have happened without Mr. Carters subjective opinion causing all this problem.
Just one more reason for you to show your support.
The guitar was a Yamaha, ash cloured wood and was in a soft black case. The case contained also some of my CDs and some copies of the press cuttings of my ban. The soft case was a present from my girlfriend and is german, it has the german shops name and address in white lettering on it. It has glue marks on it from where I had pasted pictures on it.
