At the age of 22, Stef Sun's fresh look has captivated 3 major advertisers in Taiwan. 

Among her first TV commercials was the "Chung Hwa Mobile Network Service". 
She turned heads, and had them hooked onto the screen. 

It was not long before everyone was asking, "Who's that girl?" 22-year old Stefanie Sun 

Yan Zi's debut appearance on Taiwan's TV commercial was simply Warner Music's way of 

letting the fresh face artist dip her toes in the pool. 

This has really boasted her courage in public appearance.

The advertisers kept coming back. And all of her commercials each time, undoubtedly 

an even more perfect showcase of her fresh appeal. 

She had a unique dazzle that outshone the other models. Soon Warner Music's 

best-kept secret was out.

When she was five, Yan Zi's father told her, "A person should always excel at something 

in this life, so that he or she would have something do in his or her past time." 

And she chose piano as her best companion in life.

Besides having to learn how to be independent and defend herself from kickboxing, 

she also takes kickboxing as her way to tone up her body. This has become one of her 

hobbies to occupy herself and keeps her busy. She once said that when a girl loves 

a guy, it should be all for love, not for his security. It is very obvious she's surely

an independent woman.

With her good voice, she is naturally blessed with a wonderful gift.

Stefanie caught Warner Music's eyes when she visited Sammi Cheng at Li Shih Siong's 

recording studio. She seemed like any normal girl with wide-eyed curiosity in her eyes, 

really showed she's very eager to learn something new.

Thus began Warner Music's one year of wooing of Yan Zi. The courtship of Yan Zi 

had not been easy. Admitted, several strong rival companies were in hot pursuit 

of Yan Zi too.

Soon, Stef Sun Yan Zi has become an international rising star. She sings both in 

English and Chinese and gain much respect from her fellow people in Singapore.
