Title: Holiday Plans I / II
Dear all
It was naive of me to believe that I could have a total year off. Go Paris for 6 months, take up a hairdressing course, learn how to ride a scooter.... I didn't think I had to shelve these plans. I didn't think alot.
This may seem like a feeble attempt to explain my mistake. But this is the only place I can 'talk' direct to you. No media intepretation, no salt and pepper. And I promise, no manipulation from my side. There were a few factors that led me to believe total freedom for a year, and it was pure negligence on my part to have ommitted past agreed contracts. I don't know how else to salvage the damge that I could have conveniently left out this detail and therefore labelled a liar, or that I was truly thrilled at the possibilities of a free year that it seemed negligible.
It has been upsetting to read it in the papers. I hope Warner Music, in some way, can help to rectify this problem.
This is one serious message, will write another one.

Dear all
I have been playing ping pong, window shopping at night, labelling my Make Music files with my new toy: the labelling machine, labelling my hph, acessories box, stapler, hole puncher and whatever I can get my hands on, going to holland V for banking, eating haagen das, dog watching, buying magazines, looking at paintings, swimming, newspaper reading by the pool, Thai dinner at Weisong's house.......
HAving some time off definitely made a difference. Although it can't be for a full year, I'm very grateful already. So be happy for me.
I think I can travel some time in December. Must start planning now.
