Title: A Merry Christmas Feast
Dear all,
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
Yesterday I had a Christmas Eve party at my house. There were about
20 over family members gathered at my place. It was a potluck party.
My role was to bring the ham. Naturally I sourced for the best ham
in Singapore. It was fresh and smelt wonderful. But nobody told me
it was 8 bloody kg.
Nevertheless we had a feast. There was ham, roasted beef, chicken
curry, cheese sausages (YUM), thingyles (YUM), bee hoon, otah (spicy
seafood paste wrapped in leaf and barbequed) and tau suan (a sweet
desert which I don't know how to describe becos I've never asked how
the hell to prepare.)YUM.
I prepared a mocktail of 100 plus, Ribena, lots of ice and canned
peaches (cubed). I would have added a little splash of gin if not
for my little nephews and a bit of lime would have been nice. After
dinner we played mahjong till 4 am. I lost SGD10.....damn.
This Christmas I received a green door stopper, diamond earrings and
a metal necklace.
