| Chapter 64 The chapel smelled like the outside garden as Mikkos and Victor walked out and stood next to the Priest. Lucky was standing near by noticing the pure look of fear on his grandfather�s face. Lucky wondered is his father was this scared when he married his mother. He was going to ask him that one-day. Maybe on his own wedding day! The music started and Lu walked down the ale dropping rose petals as she walked. Ruby and Luke were behind her. Lucky smiled at his sister. She little really pretty dressed in that light pink dress. In fact, she looked like one of her dolls. The wedding went on then. Not anyone dared to say a word while was going on. The only ones that spoke were the ones should a special places. The priest stared talking and everyone sat there watching as Mikkos finally married his Christina! ********************************* After the wedding, while everyone headed outside to celebrate. Robin and Zander headed up stairs. �Why are we doing this now?� Robin asked Zander. �Because we have hundred rooms to go through yet. The next ones on the list are the Jacks family,� Zander said and they headed towards Lady Jane and John Jacks room. �They wouldn�t steal!� Robin said. �We can�t just say their going to. We looked at the others. We might as well look there,� Zander said and the pair used one of the duplicate keys and walked on inside. Robin felt like a trader until she found the case underneath the bed. Inside weren�t the jewels they were looking for but an empty gun case. �What�s this?� Robin asked puzzled. Zander�s blood ran cold as he found a map that laid out the back yard. �Let�s go,� He said and they ran out of the room. Zander was hoping they could get there before anything got started. They ran out the back door but the guards and Victor were to far away. Zander looked in the direction of the old fort wall that was now the garage. It was the only thing that could be used for a sniper. �Come on,� Zander said to Robin as they headed towards the old fortress. �What are we going to do?� Robin asked as they ran. �I don�t know yet but I have feeling we don�t have much time,� Zander said as the made it inside the garage. Up in the high tower of the garage, John and his son Jerry laid down on the old wooden floor watching and waiting for their shots. John had his sights on Victor while Jerry�s target was Mikkos. �Not yet,� his father said waiting for the right time to take the shot. They needed to get Luke and Lucky closer. So, when they took out the Mikkos and his brother then father and so would go easy. Meanwhile, Robin and Zander made their way up the old wooden stairs towards the main tower and the only one that faced the party and the only one safe enough for someone to be in at this moment. Robin saw the two men lying on their stomachs getting ready to take their shots. �Now what?� she asked. Zander looked at her and said, �I can take out Jerry. Can you get his father?� �Sure,� Robin said and she found a old piece of wood that had been propped up against the stone wall. She held it like a club. �Ready when you are!� �Zander found a piece of pipe and they moved towards the two men. Zander hit first. He hit Jerry�s gun sending it off his shot by just inches. The trouble was the gun went off. Mikkos was standing near Ruby getting ready to toast to her when his glass suddenly shattered in his hands just as the sound of the gunfire went off. Victor put his arm around his brother yelled, �Everyone down.� Luke grabbed Laura and they hit the ground with their kids right behind them. Luke used his arm and pulled Lucky closer. He knew they might be the next targets but no way was he going to let anything happen to his son without trying something. Victor looked around trying to figure out where the shot came from. A guard�s voice came over his earpiece. �The tower!� Victor jumped up pulled out his gun and ordered, �Luke get everyone in the house!� �The hell I will,� Luke said pulling his own gun and running behind Victor. Robert, Johnny, Jason and Sonny were soon running behind them. Robin and Zander had their hands full at that moment. Zander and Jerry were fighting over the gun. Zander lost his footing and fell out the opening he grabbed hold of the old piece of wood just as he fell. It was the only thing keeping him from falling was that wood. Robin didn�t have time to worry about her twin. She had John Jacks to worry about. She had hit his gun out of his hand but he was still trying to get her. �Look, Robin. You don�t understand why we are doing this but you will. Please put that down, now!� �Forget it,� Robin said taking a swing at John Jacks. John Jacks grabbed for her. He managed to get hold of the end off the wood and pulled Robin towards him. He pulled a knife and said, �Sorry, sweets.� Luke, Victor and Robert were running towards the fortress when Zander fell out the window. Robert saw two things at the same time. One Jerry getting ready to shove his son to his death and the other John Jacks with a knife at his daughter�s throat. Robert stopped running and aimed his gun. He had to be perfect because one miss shot and he would loose either his son or his daughter. Zander hung in the air watching as Jerry got ready to knock him to his death. Then he heard a shot and Jerry looked down at him stunned. A small red bloodstain appeared in the middle of his chest. Jerry then fell forward missing Zander by inches and falling to his death. The second shot came a second after that. John had turned just to see his son fall. He had let go of Robin and yelled, �Jerry!� That was when the second shot happened. The bullet hit John Jacks right in the middle of his chest sending him backwards. Robin looked down at the dead body for one brief moment then went to her brother�s aid. �Zander, give me your hand,� Robin ordered reaching down towards her brother. Zander reached out grabbed Robin�s hand. She then pulled him back to safety. Robin let out a deep breath and said, �Next time we get help!� �I agree,� Zander said and they sat there waiting for the others to arrive. *************************** They found the family in the main hall. �What happened?� Mikkos asked as Victor and the others walked towards him. Victor looked coldly at Lady Jane, who was standing by Jax with this empty look on her face. �I would say I�m sorry but I�m not. Your husband and son paid with their lives for trying kill my brother!� Jax looked at Victor like he was crazy. Brenda looked at Robin and knew it was the truth. She instantly put her hand on Jax�s arm. Lady Jane on the other hand total lost it. �You bastard. You and that brother of yours are going to hell!� She pulled her gun and aimed it right at Victor. Alex was standing near by. She grabbed the gun and shoved it into the air. �The hell he will,� Alex said as she pulled the gun out of the woman�s hands. Lady Jane didn�t have time to fight. Several of the Cassadine guards grabbed her and started to take her out of the room. �Hold her for the authorities,� Victor ordered. Jax was stunned as he watched his being taken away. Victor looked at Jax and said, �I�d go with her and take care of her. Also never come this door again!� Jax took Victor as a threat and took at heart. He took Brenda�s hand and they walked away. �Thank you,� Victor said smiling at his wife. Alex smiled and said; �I couldn�t let that bitch hurt you. I love you to much.� And they kissed!
