| Chapter 63 The day of the wedding came faster then anyone thought it would. Ruby woke up early with this pit in her stomach. She tried to eat but she couldn�t. In fact, she gave up trying and spent most of the morning standing on the balcony watching as the staff worked on getting the outside ready for the wedding. Amy came in about ten and saw Ruby standing there. �What are you doing? You should be getting dressed,� Amy snapped as she quickly rushed to Ruby�s side. �Amy this isn�t my first wedding. I have a good two hours before I even have to start thinking about getting dressed,� Ruby said smiling at the young girl. �No you don�t. Mikkos has the manicurist coming in ten minuets and that is the start. Now get in there and take your shower. I�ll go lay out your dress,� Amy ordered. Ruby shrugged and did what Amy wanted. Amy in the mean time rushed around the room quickly laying out Ruby�s dress and other items that she was going to ware for the wedding. She even pulled out the surprise that Mikkos had hidden for Ruby that he told Amy about last night for dinner. Amy didn�t know what was in it but she was sure he had to be expensive. Mikkos didn�t do anything that didn�t cost him a nice chunk of change. ******************************** Ruby wasn�t the only one that was nervous. Mikkos was having a fit about everything. He had gone down stairs early that morning to make sure that things were on time. Mrs. Carlson and Mrs. Lansbury finally shoved him up to his room to get him out of the way. They then set Victor to the room to keep him there. �I heard you were getting under foot,� Victor said as he walked into his brother�s room. Mikkos shot Victor a cold look and Victor just laughed. �Big brother, thing are working out as you planned. Now will you calm down and relax.� Mikkos sighed and said, �I can�t help but think that something is going to go wrong. I know it. My gut is telling me that it is.� Victor sat down in the chair and said, �The guards have their orders, the staff knows what to do and the family knows where and when to be. Nothing and I mean nothing is going to happen.� �I hope so,� Mikkos said but he didn�t buy it. Something was going to happen and he knew it. He just didn�t know how to stop it. ************************* On the other side of the house in the guest part of the family�s wing. Three people sat around and talked about their own plans for Mikkos and Ruby�s wedding. �Mikkos is going to toast his bride by the fountain that is where it would be best to take him out. He will have the entire family near by. He will want Luke and Lucky close to him. So, if it possible take them out as well,� the oldest of the two males said pointing to a map of the grounds that laid spread out on the table. �What about Victor?� the women asked. The two men looked at each other and said, �Four shots before the guards come running might be hard but we will try. � �We can hope that Victor and Mikkos will be side by side,� the other male said. �If we are lucky,� the female said. The two men nodded and they quickly put away the map and started to get ready for the wedding. If their plans worked out this wedding was going to end up as four funerals. ****************************** The wedding was three hours away. Mrs. Carlson was downstairs in the chapel making sure the flowers were placed right when a young maid walked in. �Ma�am?� the young woman said in a small voice. �What is it?� Mrs. Carlson asked. �Ah, the young prince isn�t up and when I try to wake him. He just grumbles at me and tells me to go away. I don�t know how to wake him,� the young woman said smiling a small smile. �I know how to get his butt out of bed,� Mrs. Carlson said as she turned and headed up to Lucky�s room. She didn�t think too much of Lucky being the crown prince. He was going to get up if wanted to or not! Mrs. Carlson walked into Lucky�s room a bit later. She found Lucky in his bedchamber with is head still covered. Mrs. Carlson smiled as she grabbed the end of the cover and pulled. Lucky sat up dressed in shorts and a t-shirt. �What if I decided to sleep in the bear?� Lucky asked shocked as he sat up. �Ready to move on a moments notice. I heard your father tell you that many times. I know you would never be caught without clothes on,� Mrs. Carlson said dropping the cover to the floor and walking to the window. She pulled open the curtains letting the light in. �Get up.� She ordered. Lucky groaned and pulled his pillow over his head. �I will,� he said. �Get up or I�ll go into the bathroom and dump glass of cold water on you,� Mrs. Carlson threatened as she headed towards the bathroom. �I�m moving,� Lucky said quickly as he jumped out of bed. She had done it to him once when he refused to get up a few years ago. Lucky knew she wouldn�t think twice about doing it again. �Good,� Mrs. Carlson said heading out of the room. She stopped and turned around. �And don�t go back to bed. I�ll be back in a bit to make sure you are getting dressed.� Lucky was just inches from heading back into his bed at that moment. He took on look at the maid and quickly changed his mind. �I�m moving,� he said as he went into the bathroom to take his shower to get ready for the wedding. ************************ An hour later, Nikolas and Zander were on duty sitting the guest and the family. They weren�t happy. Lucky should be with them but so far the young prince hadn�t showed up. �I bet he went back to bed,� Zander muttered to Nikolas as they went back up the ale. �You know he did,� Nikolas said coldly. He already sat half the family and was inches from killing several of them himself. Most of them wanted to sit in different places then they were told to sit. ******************* Lucky didn�t fall back to sleep. He was up and trying to find Emily. He tried her room but she wasn�t there. So, at this moment he was heading towards her parents� room. Lucky knocked on the door and Alan answered, �Morning,� Alan said as Lucky walked into the room. �Good morning,� Lucky said smiling at Emily. �I thought you had to greet the guests,� Emily said shocked to see Lucky. �I do or I should be. Zander and Nikolas are going to kill me but I wanted to give you this. This is my way of showing Bethany that she is out of luck,� Lucky said with smile as he handed Emily a box. As Emily opened it, �I got them in St. Petersburg. I just haven�t had a chance give them to you yet.� �Oh, Lucky,� Emily said her mouth open in shock. Lucky had gotten her a diamond choker and matching set of diamond earrings and bracelet. �I love them,� she said hugging him. �I�m glad and I would love to stick around to see you in them but I don�t get going. Mrs. Carlson and Mrs. Lansbury are going to come hunting for me,� Lucky said smiling as he said good bye and left. Emily looked at her mother and said, �Help me put them on.� �Sure,� Monica said taking the necklace and helping to put it on Emily. She caught the look that Alan was giving her but she ignored it. How did she tell Lucky the gift was too much when she knew it came from the kid�s heart? Lucky could afford things like this. If Emily and Lucky did make it past this young stage they were in. Emily was going to get more then small little gifts like this. She was going to be the wife of the Cassadine crown prince. **************************** Lucky walked into the chapel pushing Lila in her wheel chair. If it wasn�t for Lila, Nikolas and Zander would have had a word with Lucky right then but they couldn�t do it in front of her. So, he was off the hook at this moment. Lucky pushed Lila to the front of the chapel. The chapel had three sections. The middle, which was set up for the family and special guests, the sides where the staff would sit and the balcony where the people thought wouldn�t hurt them, sat. �Here you go,� Lucky said placing Lila in the row behind where the main family was going to sit. �Thank you,� Lila said kissing Lucky. �Lila, do you have to flirt with every male in this family?� Edward asked sitting down in the pew next to his wife�s chair. �Behave Edward,� Lila said and she winked at Lucky. �I have to got to work,� Lucky said as he turned around to walk back. The look got from Zander told him he was in trouble once was the wedding was over with. ************************ The room was almost full when Angelic walked up to Lucky and asked; �You ready to translate?� �Any time,� Lucky said smiling. Mikkos wanted a true crown prince wedding in Russian but the trouble was half the people hear didn�t understand Russian. So, Lucky was going to be the translator. �Good, as soon as the bride and groom get ready we will get this started,� Angelic said going to the back to check on her brother. Ruby was pacing the floor. �Second thoughts?� Luke asked as he walked into the room. �About eloping,� Ruby said smiling. �I was talking marrying the guy for second time,� Luke said with smile on his face. �No, not about marrying Mikkos. I want to spend the rest of my life with him,� Ruby said smiling. �Good, now lets go out there and show those people that Spencers don�t run,� Luke said grinning. Ruby couldn�t help but laugh and said, �You have my father�s smile. You look a lot like him. Did I ever tell you that?� �No, but at least I don�t look like my father�s side of the family,� Luke said and he gave Ruby a look that said that said stayed between the two of them. Luke held out his arm to Ruby and they walked out of her bedroom to go down the hall. �You ready?� Angelic asked as she walked into the room where Mikkos and Victor were standing. �As he ever will be,� Victor said noticing for the first his brother�s life.
