| Chapter 59 After dinner, everyone broke up to look around the house and to see what Mikkos had done. Brenda, Robin and Jax were walking around the gardens. �I�m not surprised that Mikkos pulled it off,� Jax said as they walked. �Yes, he worked hard getting the Russians to agree that old rules no longer replied Robin. �You knew what he was doing?� Brenda asked Robin. �Yes, I might have acted badly with Nikolas and Gia but that didn�t mean I didn�t know when to keep my mouth shut,� Robin said smiling at Jax. Jax smiled back and said, �Don�t worry about me being upset. I have never dreamed of getting what this family has. Besides, I�m only hear to do some business with Stefan.� �Yeah, and I�m here for the wedding,� Brenda said smiling at Robin. �Thanks, now let me show you this grand place that Mikkos set up,� Robin said and she took her friends on a tour of the castle. ********************************* Carly and Jason were going to the viewing room to watch a movie when they ran into Darlene and Laurie. �Carly,� Laurie said smiling in surprise at the young woman. Carly was the one that surprised. Darlene and Laurie were no longer flawless beauties. They were normal women. �Hi,� Carly said to stunned for words. �Hi,� Darlene said smiling. �Do you have any idea what we can do?� �We are going to the movies. Would you want to join us?� Carly asked. She didn�t know why but seeing them as they are now was kind of heeling in away. She no longer hated them and in fact she might want to get to know them. �I�d like that,� Laurie said and the six of them headed towards the viewing room. ****************************** Sheila, Philip, Christie and her husband Mathew walked around the down stairs looking in ever room making mental note of what they wanted to steal. �Hello,� came a voice from behind one of the walls. The foursome turned around to see Luke walking out from behind a painting. �You scared us,� Sheila said jumping back a bit. �Sorry. I hate using the main hall. My wife wants a book to read,� Luke said as he went to the bookshelves to find the book Laura had sent him for. �That�s ok. You are one of the main family?� Philip asked coolly. �Yeah, I�m Luke,� Luke said figuring the feeling he was getting about the two gents was just because he was with those two Cassadine man chasers. He didn�t know any other reason why his gut was telling him that something was off. �I�m Philip Kendle and this is my wife Sheila,� Philip said reaching out for Luke�s hand. �I know your wife,� Luke said coldly as she took the man�s hand. He kind of felt sorry for the guy marrying up with a gold digger like Sheila. He wouldn�t wish that on anyone not even his worst enemy. �Oh, that�s right you would have met before,� Philip said not even giving a hit that he notes the cold tone of Luke�s voice. �Yeah, we did at Carly and Jason�s engagement party,� Sheila said smiling as she wrapped her arm around Philips. �Yeah,� Luke said and he noticed the book that Laura had wanted. �My wife is waiting for me. Good night,� Luke said and he quickly left. Mathew looked at the two women and asked, �What was that about?� Christie smiled and said; �We are noted for chasing unmarried Cassadine men. Luke was on of our prospects at one time.� �You aim high!� Philip said smiling. �Well, we tried but he loves his wife to much to notice anyone else,� Sheila said with a sheepish grin on her face. �Well that�s in the past. We have work to do,� Philip said and the foursome went on looking around the house making notes on what they could steal without being seen. *********************************** Alexis and Gia were sitting in Alexis� room talking about babies. Gia had no idea what she was in for and she wanted a clue on what to do. Tasha was in a rocker rocking back and forth laughing. �So, does it hurt?� Gia asked. �Birth?� Alexis asked smiling a bit. �Yeah.� �Kind of in a way but you forget. Luke keeps on telling me that I yelled it wasn�t time but I don�t remember. All I really remember is having that life put in my arms for the first time. You know, Gia, you realize that giving birth is the easiest thing there is to parenthood,� Alexis said smiling as she looked over towards her daughter. Tasha�s rocking got faster and faster. �Slow down,� Alexis told her daughter. Tasha didn�t stop but got faster. The child started to get scared and she sat there crying. �Tasha,� Alexis said getting and moving towards her daughter but she suddenly found herself back against the bed. �What�s going on?� Gia asked and she to grab the child but she ended up in a chair unable to move. �Tasha!� Alexis scared in fear as the rocking got faster and faster. Luke was walking back the long way when suddenly he heard the screams of the two women. Luke burst into the room. What Luke saw was different then what the woman saw! Luke saw this young woman fighting this man as he rocked the rocker back and forth. By Alexis he saw another woman holding her down as she fought to get up. A younger boy was holding Gia down in the chair. �What the hell,� Luke snapped as he rushed to Tasha pulled her out of the chair kicking the chair over in the process. The man growled at Luke but before the man could do anything to Luke or Tasha. Three figures burst into the room grabbed the three that were trying to hurt Tasha, Alexis and Gia and pulled them out. The woman that was rocking Tasha walked over kissed Tasha on the cheek then vanished. Alexis in the mean time rushed to her daughter took her from Luke and held her tight. �I don�t know what was going on but thank God you are ok.� �Luke, you ok?� Gia asked noticing that Luke was a bit pale. �No,� was Luke�s only reply. He dropped down in one of the chairs to shocked to speak. �Luke, you needed us to Alex?� Alexis asked. �Mean people,� Tasha said reaching out for Luke. �Yeah, mean people.� Luke finally said not knowing what he was saying but at least talking. �Luke?� was all Gia and Alexis� comments on that. �You can see them?� came too little voice from behind the women. Alexis turned around to see Victoria and Michael standing there. �See who?� Gia asked. �The ghosts.� Michael said like it was nothing. �Hold it, you see them?� Luke asked didn�t know if it was good that he was only adult that saw people that weren�t there. �Yeah, we talk to them,� Victoria said smiling. �You talk to them?� Alexis said in none believing voice. �Yes. So, does Lu,� Michael replied calmly. �My Lu?� Luke asked. �Yes,� Victoria said. �Ok, enough games. Time for bed,� Alexis said not buying a word of this. �That�s the problem. The mean ones locked Nanny in the closet and we can�t get the key,� Victoria said looking at Alexis with disappointed look on her face. She didn�t believe that there were ghosts. �I�ll help,� Gia said leaving Alexis and Luke alone in the room. �Luke, you were playing with them weren�t you?� Alexis asked after the kids were gone. �Yeah,� Luke said trying to sound sure of himself but he wasn�t. If the saw the ghost did that mean that they were real or had he slipped into a reality that only children understood. �Ok,� Alexis said and she took her daughter into the other room to put her to bed. Luke left but he didn�t go directly to the room where Laura was waiting for her book. Luke went to see his daughter. As he neared the room, he heard Lu talking to someone. Luke walked into the room and got another shock of his life. Sitting there beside Lu was Lu! �Two of them?� Luke said stunned. �No, Daddy this is Nikka,� Lu told her father glad that Luke could see her friend. �Ok,� Luke said moving forward just a bit. �Ah, she is nice right?� Luke asked Lu. �I�m not going to hurt Lu,� the child said softly with a strong Russian accent. �Ah, you talk?� Luke said. �You heard me?� Nikka replied. �Yeah, I heard you,� Luke said sitting down again. He didn�t know if he was really sick or his mind hand finally left him because no way was he talking to a ghost. �Daddy?� Lu said walking to her father. �You ok?� �Yeah, I�m fine. I think,� Luke replied. �You�re not crazy,� Nikka replied. �Oh, I�m not. I�m talking to a ghost. In fact, I see them all the time and a ghost tells me I�m not crazy. Why do you say that?� Luke asked the child. Nikka smiled and said, �Your funny for one prince's.� �Don�t call me that,� Luke told the little girl. �Sorry, I heard you don�t like being the prince,� Nikka said in a small voice. �Who told you that?� Luke asked looking at his daughter. �Your grandfather,� Nikka said. �My what?� Luke asked back getting that feeling he was crazy again. �I think better tell him,� Lu said smiling at her father. �Tell me what?� Luke asked getting this idea that he wasn�t going to like any of it. Nikka smiled and said, �You see, we are trapped here until Mikkos confessions of the crimes the others did. If he doesn�t then we can�t cross over and neither can the others that died here. There are some good ones here and then there are bad ones. The bad ones are tired of waiting and they are attacking people now.� �I saw them doing that with Tasha,� Luke said thinking more to himself then to the two kids. �That�s nothing,� Nikka said sadly. �One from the kitchen hurt someone for the kitchen.� �The electric knife,� Luke said. �I don�t know what it is called but I do know if something isn�t done soon. The mean ones are going to�� Nikka stopped and looked over at her friend. �Do what?� Luke asked trying not to scare the little girl but he had to know what was going on. �Make you join us,� Nikka said sadly.
