| Chapter 52 �I don�t believe him,� Robin complained as she stood there watching Nikolas and Zander play pool. �Forget about Lucky,� Zander said lining up his shot. �We all know he likes Gia.� �Why?� Robin asked coldly. �Gia isn�t that bad,� Nikolas said watching as Zander lined up his next shot. �Nikolas, she dumped you?� Robin said shocked that he would defend her. �She didn�t dump me. She just told me she isn�t playing second fiddle in my life any more and I can�t blame her,� Nikolas said as he watched Zander miss the nine ball. �What do you mean by that?� Robin asked as she watched Nikolas walk around the table looking for his next shot. �You know what I mean. Come on Robin, the others aren�t around. Lucky was right about one thing. I do have feelings for you and you have them for me. We both admitted that a long time ago. Gia just called me on it. She has the right to know where I stand,� Nikolas said as he took his shot and sunk the one ball. �And?� Zander asked hopefully. He thought Gia was hot and he did like to spend time with her. Ok, he didn�t love her but then again Zander thought the two could have fun for awhile. �And I don�t know what I want. Not in my life with the family business or socially, I�m trying to figure things out,� Nikolas said looking around for his next shot. Robin didn�t say anything about this. She was hoping that Nikolas would openly say he liked her. When he did it kind of hurt her feelings. �Well, better figure it out soon,� Zander said hating to see his sister hurt. He knew she liked Nikolas. He did want Nikolas to pick Robin because to Zander they fit together a hell of a lot better then Gia and Nikolas did. **************************************** Stefan found Laura sitting at her desk working. �Luke talking to Lucky?� Stefan asked. �Let�s hope. I don�t know what got into him but I�m not putting up with that kind of attitude,� Laura replied as she looked up from the file she was working on. �Well, don�t be to hard on the kid,� Stefan said having trouble shaking the feeling that that something was off with what happened in the dinning area. Lucky, Nikolas and Zander were acting a little off in there. It wasn�t just Lucky. �You ok?� Laura asked shocked that Stefan said that. �I know. I�m usually the one that that thinks Lucky goes to far but he has had a rough three weeks. He is just blowing off steam. I�m sure it will not happen again,� Stefan said walking to his desk to check out his messages. It was easier to work in the evening when the family was worn on. He got a lot more done without all the interruptions. �Well, I don�t care how hard weeks he had. He had no right talking to Robin like that. I for one think it is a good idea that Gia and Nikolas broke up. She was just not right for Nikolas,� Laura said coolly. �I thought we agreed to stay out of Nikolas love life?� Stefan said. �I�m not telling him what to do. I�m just saying t hat I think Robin suits Nikolas better,� Laura said smugly. �Well, as long as you don�t tell Nikolas that. He has to finger all this out on his own,� Stefan said. He liked Robin better but his father made it very clear that Nikolas worked out Nikolas problems without his parents� help. �Ok,� Laura said and she started looking over the pictures Gia took before she joined them in England. Laura still had to pick out the pictures for the campaign that was do to launch soon. **************************** Lucky decided to avoid any lecturers that he could get from any family members but going up stairs early that night. He decided to check on Gia before going to bed. So, he found a maid in one of the hallways and asked, �Where is Gia Campbell�s room?� The maid smiled politely at Lucky and said, �She is on the other side of the house away from the family.� �Why?� Lucky asked coldly. �Because that is what Mr. Zander requested,� the maid said wondering why Lucky was getting upset. She knew he was the crown prince and figured it wouldn�t be a good idea to get on his bad side. She needed her job and enjoyed working for the Cassadines. She would like to do it for a bit longer. �He want anything else?� Lucky asked crossing his arms across his chest. �Yes, sir,� the maid said stepping back a bit in fear. �Mr. Zander Cassadine requested that we tell Ms. Campbell that she isn�t not welcome at the family table.� �He what?� Lucky growled his blood raging. �Sir? Is that all right?� the maid asked unsure what to do. Lucky was the prince. He out ranked anyone in this house but Mikkos and Luke. She was worried that she had something wrong. �No, it isn�t right,� Lucky snapped. �Go to Ms. Campbell and apologize for the mistake. Move her belongings closer to the family and tell her that she my person guest for breakfast tomorrow,� Lucky said then he walked towards the stairs to go find Zander. ***************************** Carly and Jason had just put the twins in bed. �We want sleep with Lucky,� Victoria said looking sad that she hadn�t seen Lucky all evening. �Lucky is unhappy right now. Maybe he will be in a better mood tomorrow,� Carly said as she kissed her daughter on the cheek. �But mommy,� Michael cried. �It wasn�t Lucky�s fault that he got mad. It was Robins.� �I know it was Robin�s fault, but you have to give Lucky his space. Remember, it is ok to hang around him sometimes but boys Lucky�s age like to be with bigger kids as well. You have to respect that,� Carly said kissing Michael. �Your mother is right. People Lucky�s age need their space,� Jason said kissing the twins and tucking them in one last time. �Ok,� the twins replied and they slowly closed their eyes and went to sleep. Carly and Jason left the room leaving the door between their room and the twins open a bit. After the thing with the rats, Carly felt a lot better if the twins were closer to them. So, Mikkos had moved a few people around to accommodate them. Carly went to the dressing table to start removing her make up and Jason started to get undressed. �Why did you say that about Robin?� Jason asked as he pulled off his shirt. �Because it was the truth,� Carly said as she took off her earrings. �That isn�t how I saw it,� Jason said coldly. �No, because you and Laura are like some of the others. You are on Saint Robin�s side,� Carly said coldly. Robin was the only thing that Jason and her fought about it. Carly might have ended up with Jason but Jason still saw Robin as a friend. The trouble was Carly hated Robin. �Carly, Robin isn�t playing games that isn�t like her,� Jason said as he took his pants. �Sure, Jason. Robin is the good one. God, you make me sick when you talk about her like she is so perfect,� Carly muttered as she went into the bathroom to finish getting ready for bed. She knew if she stuck around too much longer then Jason and her would end up getting into a fight. **************************** Alexis checked on Tasha one more time before joining Sonny in bed with a bowl of popcorn and the remote. �How is she?� Sonny asked. �Finally sleep. She couldn�t understand why she couldn�t be with ducky?� Alexis said smiling. �Oh, that name is going to stick,� Sonny said laughing. �Yeah, poor Lucky. I see some teasing coming from that name,� Alexis said as she climbed into bed next to Sonny. �Speaking of Lucky, what do you about what happened this evening?� Sonny asked her. �I know you like Robin but she is in the wrong in this. She has been sticking around Nikolas a bit too much. She knew Gia and Nikolas were having troubles and all she did was make it worse,� Alexis said as she popped a piece of popcorn into her mouth. Sonny thought about this. Yeah, he liked Robin but that didn�t mean he was blind. He saw what she was doing and knew why Lucky got mad. He was defending his friend because at this moment she wasn�t in the mood to defend herself. �I�m with you. Robin is wrong but so was Lucky,� Sonny added. He didn�t like the tone Lucky used with Robin. Sonny was really shocked about it because this didn�t sound like Lucky at least not the Lucky he knew! �Yeah, well, Zander didn�t help out either. I don�t know what is going on but those boys were all acting off at the dinner table tonight,� Alexis said a little bit worried about all of it. �Yeah, I know. I don�t know what is going on but I hope it quits soon,� Sonny said as he pulled Alexis to him turning on the TV and starting their movie. *************************************************** When Lucky walked into the poolroom, not only was Zander, Robin and Nikolas were in there but so were Mikkos and his father. They were talking about threats against Lucky. Lucky at this moment could careless about any of that. He had other things on his mind. Lucky walked over to where Zander was standing and punched the guy. It didn�t take long for a full fight to breakout between the pair. Mikkos and Luke quickly jumped to their feet and broke the pair a part. �Lucky, what has gotten into you?� Mikkos yelled glaring at his grandson. �Him!� Lucky yelled pointing a figure at Zander. �This bastard thought it would be cute sticking Gia on the other side of the house and telling her that she wasn�t welcome to sit at the table with the rest of the family.� �What? Lucky you are delusional,� Zander snapped back. �Ask the upstairs maid. She was the one that told me,� Lucky said looking at his grandfather with this intent look on his face. Mikkos looked at the two boys and ordered, �You two don�t move.� He then walked to the intercom and hit a bottom. �Mrs. Lansbury, could you find the upstairs maid for me!� �Yes, Mr. Cassadine,� Mrs. Lansbury voice come over the intercom. Mikkos turned to the group and said, �We well get to the bottom of this.� He wasn�t happy. He was the only one that could tell anyone that they were welcome to his table. If Zander had done this then he didn�t know Zander like should have. The maid Lucky had talked to earlier walk into the room looking very scared. Mikkos smiled at her and said, �You aren�t in trouble. I just need some information. My grandson told me that you informed him that Zander ordered you to move Ms. Campbell to the other side of the house. Is that true?� �Yes, sir but he didn�t personally. It Miss Scorpio over that that was the one gave me the instructions,� the maid said bowing slightly at Mikkos. �I should have known,� Lucky snapped glaring at Robin. �Robin, why?� Nikolas asked hurt that she would do such of a thing. Robin smiled her best smile and said, �I thought it would be best for everyone if they didn�t have to deal with her.� Lucky was about say something but Luke pulled on his shoulder and shook his head. He figured Mikkos was going to have enough to say without Lucky adding to it. Mikkos glared at Robin and said, �I will let this go this time but I don�t want you to over step your place here again. I am the only one that will order this staff around. You are a guest and that is it. Do I make myself clear?� Mikkos asked her. �Yes,� Robin said meekly. �Good. Zander, we need to talk,� Mikkos said as he turned around and left. Zander eyed his twin coldly as he walked behind Mikkos. He had feeling he was in for it and it all because of his sister. Lucky pulled free from his father and turned to Robin. �You just proved one thing to me. You�re the real bitch!� he said to her then he left the room. �You going to let him get away with that?� Robin asked Luke. Luke smiled at Robin and said, �Yeah because right now. You are acting more like your mother then your father at this moment.� Luke then looked at Nikolas and said, �I have some advice for you. I think twice about going with someone that has to play games to get a man.� Luke then walked out of the room leaving Nikolas and Robin alone. �You going to yell at me now as well?� Robin asked as she turned to face Nikolas. �No, I just want to know why you did it?� Nikolas asked calmly. �Because, I hate how she is hurting you,� Robin said calmly. �She isn�t hurting me. I�m hurting her. I might now know if I love Gia or not but I just realized that I don�t love you. I can�t love anyone that treats someone the way you treated Gia. Bye,� Nikolas said kissing Robin on the cheek and then walking away. Robin was shocked and hurt about he said. She didn�t understand why he acted the way he did. All she was trying to do was help him out. ****************************** Nikolas went upstairs and found Gia getting settled in her new room. It was closer to the family this time around. In fact, it was close to his room this time around. Nikolas smiled at Gia and waited for the maids to leave. When they were alone he said, �I just found out what happened. I wanted to tell you that I had nothing to do with this. I never wanted you to be treated like this.� �Robin right,� Gia said coldly. �Yes, and I�m sorry that I didn�t see through her sooner.� �Its ok. We both messed us up without Robin�s help,� Gia said as she sat down on the bed. Nikolas sat down beside her and then asked, �What now?� �I don�t know. Was Robin our only problem?� Gia asked him. �No, and it isn�t our only problem. It is mine. I don�t know what I want but I do know I have to find out. Give me this summer without any pressure on anything to find out where we go from here. I promise. I�ll give an answer by the time we leave here,� Nikolas told Gia as he placed his hand on her knee. Gia nodded her head and said, �You have your summer. I just hope you figure it out soon for both of us.� Gia kissed Nikolas on the cheek. Then she got up to head for the bathroom to get ready for bed. Nikolas left the room with lost of things on his mind. He knew he cared for Gia but was it love? He didn�t know. Then again he didn�t know anything about his life any more. He didn�t know what he wanted or where he was going. All he knew was he had to figure it out soon. He wasn�t a kid any more.
