| Chapter 12 The day Lucky came home from the hospital life should great for everyone and it was at least for the first hour. All but Mikkos over growing urge to take over things. �In there,� Mikkos ordered as two men brought in a hospital like bed into the penthouse. �What�s that?� Luke asked as he watched the strangers bring in a bed into his home. �It�s for Lucky. The staff will be here this afternoon,� Mikkos said turning his back on Luke and watching as the men carried in the bed. Other people showed carrying boxes and other items and all of them headed for the room. Luke walked over to where Lucky sat in his wheel chair. �Where�s one of your crutches at?� Luke asked with a cold hard look in his eyes. �Why?� Lucky asked not liking the look his father had at this moment. �I want to wrap it around that old man neck,� Luke snapped pointing to Mikkos. �Dad,� Lucky said grabbing his father�s arm trying to keep him from strangling Mikkos. �Don�t dad me,� Luke said pulling free. He had had it with Mikkos. He was sick of him taking over his life and running it. Especially when it came to Lucky. Luke stormed over to Mikkos grabbed his arm and turned him around. �Look you old coot!� Luke snapped. �I have put up with your bull long enough. First you give Lucky a car that he shouldn�t have. Then you by all those fast toys one of them almost gets Lucky killed and now you are walking into my home ordering stuff that we don�t want or need. Take that crap back and call off who ever you got coming over. Now!� Laura and the others walked into the room when they heard Luke yelling. All of them just stood there watching as Luke vented on Mikkos. �Luke, I know this has been hard on you. I was just trying to,� Mikkos started to say. Luke almost hit him and in fact he would have if Sonny and Jason hadn�t stopped him. �Don�t!� Sonny said pulling Luke way from Mikkos. �Why not?� Luke snapped trying to pull free. �You�ll regret it,� Sonny told him. �OH, NO I WON�T,� Luke said. �Oh, Luke how about you help me in the kitchen,� Laura said quickly grabbing her husband�s arm and pulling him out of the room. Laura looked at Ruby and muttered. �Deal with him!� Laura said motioning towards Mikkos. Ruby smiled and walked towards the man. �Ah, Mikkos, lets go outside.� �What?� Mikkos snapped trying to figure out what everyone was upset with him how. Lucky, Zander and Nikolas stood off to the side laughing. �A staff?� Nikolas said smiling. �I wonder how many people he hired?� Zander laughed. �Hey, as long as they are cute. I don�t care,� Lucky said laughing. �Ouch!� Lucky said suddenly rubbing his head as he turned to see Emily standing there holding a pillow that she used to hit him with. �Say that again!� Emily said standing there threatening behind Lucky. �I wouldn�t dream of it,� Lucky said with a big smile on his face. Nikolas and Zander both it Lucky�s arms and laughed at him. Outside, Ruby and Mikkos stood in the hall way talking. �Haven�t you learned anything yet?� Ruby asked Mikkos. �I didn�t by him a new boat. I locked the others up. What more am I do they want?� Mikkos snapped. �Damn Mikkos ask them what they want. They are the parents of your grandchildren. Don�t you understand that!� Ruby snapped at him. �I don�t have to ask,� Mikkos said. �Oh, the prince thing again,� Ruby said shaking her head at her ex husband. �Look, you want your kids to care about you. You have to respect them. You have to respect the fact they have a right too decided what happens to there kids. So, go in there and talk to Luke about this and don�t play the prince because if you do. I�ll make sure Sonny and Jason don�t stop him the next time,� Ruby threatened as she shoved Mikkos towards the door. ******************************* Later on everything was fine at least on the most part but things blew up when the newspaper arrived that afternoon. Lucky and Lu were playing video games with the other kids watching. Mrs. Carlson brought in the paper and placed it on the table without opening it. She learned awhile back not to even mention the fact the paper was here any more. Lucky put down the game and handed the control to Josh. �You try it,� Lucky said. Lu giggled glad to know she beat her brother. The others had noticed that Lucky�s reflexes were off but they also knew this was part of Lucky�s condition and in time that to would go away. Lucky moved back to give Josh room and looked down to see the paper. The headlines jumped right out at him. �Oh, my God!� Lucky said picking up the paper and turning white. �What?� Nikolas asked looking over at Lucky and noticed he was looking at the paper. �This,� Lucky said handing the paper to his brother. Nikolas jaw dropped open and looked over at Zander. �Ah, buddy. I think you need to see this!� �What!� Zander said walking over and taking the paper from Nikolas. Zander stood there reading the paper with his heart in his throat. �Zan,� Lucky said as Zander walked towards the door. Zander didn�t stop. He just stormed out leaving the paper on the floor. Nikolas ran after him and Lucky picked up the paper. Robin had walked over to see what was going on. She picked up the top page and looked at story that got Zander all upset. �You knew about this?� Robin asked Lucky. �No. This is new to me,� Lucky said sadly. Robin nodded and went to find the others. She found the adults talking quickly together on the patio and kitchen. Robin walked over to her mother and handed her the paper. �I think you should read this,� Robin said trying hard to hid her anger and frustration. Anna took the paper and looked at it. She then looked at Robin and asked, �Zander see this?� �Yes.� Robin said knowing it was the truth after her mother didn�t deny any of it. �I have to go after him,� Anna said and she started for the door. �What�s going on?� Alex asked coming over to her sister. �This,� Anna said handing the paper to her twin. �Oh, no,� Alex asked thinking only of Zander. �Where did he go?� Before Anna or Alex had a chance to leave, Robert walked up and asked. �What�s going on?� Alex and Anna both looked at each other and then Robert. The look on the women�s faces told only one thing and that was they were hiding something. Robin pulled the paper from her mother�s hand before she could even utter a sound and said, �Read this.� Robert took the paper and read it quickly. Anna looked at Robert and begged. �I can explain!� �Forget it,� Robert said dropping the paper on the ground before storming out of the room. This got the other�s attention by this time and Victor walked up and asked Alex, �What�s going on?� �They know,� Alex said crying. �What?� Victor said confused. �She means,� Robin said her voice flat and accusingly towards her mother. �The world knows that Zander is my twin brother!� Robin left right then leaving everyone standing around with their mouths open wide and all eyes on the two women.
