| Chapter 19 Luke and Roy arrived and walked passed Larken and Ford and over to Robert. �What�s going on?� Luke asked eyeing the dinner. �Nothing so far. I know there are at least three of them in there, Damion and two of his men. I think Damion at least got in through that window,� Robert said pointing to the open window on the top floor. �Carly,� Luke said remembering telling the girl before he left to close the window. �What?� Robert said puzzled at Luke�s comment. �Never mind,� Luke said as he mind worked out a plan. �Roy, I want to go in that window.� �Got it,� Roy said leaving without hearing the rest of Luke�s plan. He knew Luke well enough to know when to attack. �What are you going to do?� Larken asked. �No of your business,� Luke said as he started towards the dinner. �Ah, we need that,� Ford said trying to grab for the box. �Finders keepers,� Luke said smiling as he walked on leaving the two agents standing there fuming. Luke didn�t even bother to knock. He just walked on inside. Damian had been expecting him. So, no one even jumped as he walked into the room. Luke noticed the two men standing near the group at the table and Damion standing near Lucky and Laura. �The box,� Damion said pointing to it. �Not until they are out of here,� Luke said coldly. Damion didn�t utter a word. He just pulled Lucky�s head back and placed a knife against the kid�s throat. �He dies then,� Damion said coldly. �Then we die,� Luke said holding up the bomb that Frank had once had rigged up in the airport locker. �You wouldn�t,� Damion said. �Try me. There is something you have to know about me. I don�t believe in heaven or hell. So, it will not matter after Lucky is gone what happens. You hurt my kid. I take us all out,� Luke said as he stood there holding the bomb without even showing one sign that he was bluffing. Damion stood there for a moment thinking about what to do. He finally said, �Ok, get out,� Damion said as he let go of Lucky�s hair and shoved Laura and him towards the door. Everyone headed for the door. Laura stepped next to Luke said, �Be careful!� �I will,� Luke said kissing her lightly on the lips. After everyone was gone, Luke turned to Damion and threw him the box. �Here!� �Thanks, and you should have left as well because you are dead,� Damion said and his men slowly pointed their guns at Luke. �You forgot I get this?� Luke said holding up the bomb. �And me,� Roy said as he walked down the stairs with his gun drawn. Damion looked the two men and wondered how he was going to get out of this one. He got what he wanted but that didn�t mean he was going to live to use it. ************************** Robert and his officers came out of hiding the moment Laura and the others were clear from the diner. �Laura, you ok?� Robert asked. �I�m fine but Luke is still in there,� Laura said looking back at the diner. �And he has a bomb,� Taggert said wondering what Spencer was going to do with it. �A what?� Robert said suddenly getting this sickening feeling in his gut but before he could react. The diner blew up sending glass and flames up and outwards towards the crowed knocking everyone to the ground. �Luke!� Laura cried as she looked up from the ground at the diner or what left of it burned. �Dad!� Lucky cried out thinking it was impossible for his father to live. �Someone call the fire department,� Robert yelled as he jumped to his feet and ran towards the diner.
