| Chapter 22 Alexis decided to go over Scott�s head. She went to talk to the mayor to get Scott to back down. Alexis walked into the mayor�s main office and was greeted by the mayor�s personal assistant. �I�m here to talk to the Mayor!� Alexis said coldly. �You have an appointment?� the assistant asked Alexis. Alexis leaned in using her height over the smaller man and said as her voice slowly grew in rage, �No, I don�t have appointment. You go tell the Mayor that Alexis Cassadine-Corinthos is here and wants to talk to him. If he doesn�t want to talk to me, I�ll go back and get my father to deal with his new DA and trust young man you don�t want to piss that Russian prince off!� The assistant backed up a bit turning a shade whiter then his normal skin color. �I�ll be right back,� the man said and he was off. Alexis stood their tapping her foot while the others in the office tried to act busy. The door opened and the Mayor walked out himself. �Mrs. Corinthos, come into my office and we talk,� the Mayor said smiling brightly at her. Alexis glared at the man and walked into the office then waited for the door close behind her. �I want you to point out to your appointed DA about peoples rights!� Alexis snapped. �What did Mr. Baldwin do?� the Mayor asked still smiling hoping to find away to calm this woman down. Alexis looked at the Mayor as if he just told her the dumbest joke on the planet. �What did he do? The question should be what he didn�t he do?� Alexis said coldly. The mayor dropped down in his seat and Alexis stalked forwarded. �Mr. Baldwin had the nerve to ask my cousin if she enjoyed being attacked by that monster that is walking around at this moment killing young woman. Then he without a warrant or doctors premistion, he opened my nephew, the crown princes medical records, he found out that there was a bit of information that we with held from police. Now, it wasn�t about the kidnapping but it was about why his nurse was fired. Now, we don�t want to add the press hounding he lives with. So, we didn�t tell the police that he was sexually molested. We forgot about those events but it seems the DA wants to make a federal case out of it! He went as far as to corner the young man in an open parking lot without his parents or me present and started to question him. He even suggested that there was something that the world does not know about the crown prince. Now, you either get control of your appointed DA or I�m going to sue you, him and this city for every penny I can get!� Alexis yelled. The Mayor gulped and said, �Mrs. Corinthos, I apologize for his actions. He was way out of line and I will make sure it ends here. He will be informed if he wants anything from you family to call your office and please tell your father that I�m very sorry for any trouble he caused any of you. Also, I will make sure that the DA will not utter a word of what happened the crown prince. He doesn�t need to have any of that information splashed across any new paper. It will not be talked about from me or anyone associated with this city!� �Thank you, I will make sure that my father understands you don�t always control everything people near you do,� Alexis said smiling then she walked out of the office leaving the Mayor sitting at his desk breathing very hard. The Mayor couldn�t believe his choice for DA could cause him so much trouble. He was running for State Senate this up coming year. Scott knew this and he knew he was depending on the Cassadine money to get him their. How could he threatened it by bring up petty things like the past with some woman that couldn�t keep her hands off some teenage boy? *************************** Lucky arrived home in one ripe mood after his dealings with Scott Baldwin. The longer he drove the madder he had gotten. He couldn�t believe Scott had actually done that to him. What if someone over heard? What if it got into the papers? Lucky just couldn�t think about what his life was going to be like once that happened. Luke was working out in the living room trying to burn off his own pent up rage towards Scott while Lu did her homework on the floor near by. Lucky stormed into the penthouse threw his keys, books and coat on the chair near the door then stormed up the stairs muttering something in Russian as he went towards his room. Lu looked up at her father and said, �Lucky is upset.� �Yeah, I agree,� Luke, said picking up a few words his son was saying. The ones that Luke got the most were �rack, beheading, and Scott.� Laura came out of the kitchen with Mrs. Carlson and she asked, �What�s wrong with him?� Laura asked. �I don�t know but I think your ex has something to do with it,� Luke said grabbing the crutches and looking at his wife. �Help me go up stairs. I think we need to talk to our son.� Laura nodded her head and helped Luke with the stairs. ************************************ The closer Luke and Laura got to Lucky�s room they heard Lucky going off with music blasting from the room. �Man, what did he do to him?� Luke asked noticing Lucky was playing heavy metal. Lucky didn�t play that stuff unless he was beyond rage. �I don�t know,� Laura said as she tried the door and thankfully it wasn�t lock. Luke and Laura walked into the room to see Lucky kicking his trunk mutter to himself. Laura looked at Luke. Luke leaned over turned off Lucky�s stereo and asked, �Cowboy, do want to talk about it?� Lucky turned his rage on the verge of over flowing and snapped, �What in hell do you care? You wanted to cop on me just a few days ago. In fact, I don�t give a damn if you cut your own damn throat!� Lucky yelled. �Lucky!� Laura said shocked to hear him say those things. �What?� Lucky snapped not seeing how wrong what he said was or not really caring at this moment. All Lucky�s mind was working on at this moment was Scott and what had happened in the parking lot. �He is still your father. You should show some kind of respect,� Laura said trying to figure out what had gotten into her son because this wasn�t the Lucky she knew. He would have never say things like that to his father. Something had to have set him off! Lucky scuffed, �Why should I care about hurting his feelings? He doesn�t care about mine.� �Lucky, I�m sorry. I messed up. I let how I was feeling get in the way of what was important. Now please let me help you in what had upset you so much. I know you are not just mad at what happened a few days ago,� Luke said walking forward towards his son. Lucky backed up. He stood there unsure at what to do. He didn�t know who he was mad at more, his father or Scott? The phone rang and Laura picked up Lucky�s line. �Hello?� she said. �Victor, yes he is home. He what? Oh, no, everything is fine. Thank you for calling. Good day,� Laura hung up the phone and looked at Lucky. �Scott had no right doing that to you,� Laura said. �Doing what?� Luke asked. Laura took a deep breath and said, �Scott corned Lucky in the C Corp parking lot. He was asking about the AIDS test.� �That creep,� Luke growled as he slapped one of the crushes against Lucky�s bedpost. �Luke,� Laura said putting a restraining hand on her husband�s arm. �Don�t defend him, Angel,� Luke said glaring at his wife. �I�m not defending him but you are in no shape to go after him beside it isn�t going to help anything,� Laura said calmly but she wasn�t calm. She was mad just as mad as Luke was at this moment. How dare Scott attack her son on what happened with Alice. Lucky looked at his parents and said, �You know I�m still in the room.� �We know,� Luke said trying hard not to smile. �Are you ready to talk about what happened with Scott?� �You know what happened. Hell, he could be talking to the press right now. I can see the headlines at this very moment,� Lucky said coldly and he walked away from his parents. Luke looked at his wife and said, �Let me deal with this. Lucky and I have things to work out anyways.� �Ok,� Laura said thinking maybe it was time for her to deal with a few things with Scott anyway. Laura left them alone and Luke sat down on the bed. �What do you want to talk about first, Scott or me?� Luke asked. �Neither, you both do what you want to do spite what I want,� Lucky said coldly. Luke nodded his head and said, �Yeah, I did what I thought was right at the time. I mean I didn�t want to live half of a life.� �All you had to do was fight,� Lucky snapped. �I did. Hell, I had to deal with Alice. I still made it.� Luke nodded his head and asked, �Before you walked without these for the first time. You thought you couldn�t why was that?� Lucky thought about this and said, �I was afraid.� �Don�t think you I can be afraid,� Luke asked his son. �No, nothing scares you,� Lucky said still looking out his window. Luke really laughed this time and said, �Cowboy, I got news for you. I am afraid of a lot of things. I just hide it more then others.� Lucky sighed and said, �I know. I guess I was just mad that you tried to end your life. I never thought you would do that.� �I didn�t either until all of this. Lucky, it took a lot for me to get over what happened when I broke my back. I stayed away to save my family from the pain of watching me get better. You know I get when I get sick. This was just the max how I get,� Luke said. Lucky laughed and said, Yeah, I know. You are pain in the ass when you are sick.� �Yeah, that is all I was back a few days ago,� Luke said smiling. Lucky moved towards his father and sat down beside him. �So, what are going to do about Scott? He isn�t going to go away. He really is out to hurt us,� Lucky said calmly. �I don�t know. I do know that he is out to make trouble,� Luke said feeling very helpless at this moment. Lucky read his father�s mind and said, �You want to punch out his lights!� �Yeah, I want to shove teeth of his down his throat,� Luke said coldly. �Don�t worry, pop. You will get your chance. You just have bide your time,� Lucky said patting his father on the shoulder. �Where did this pop come from?� Luke asked his son. �I don�t know. I guess it is my way of getting back at you for trying to run out on me,� Lucky admitted. �Well, I can live with it. I do call Mikkos old man and I know it gets to him but do me a favor don�t shut me out. You get upset with me talk to me.
