| Chapter 21 Monday was the first day Lucky was running late for school, his father had an early doctors appointment with Alex. So, Laura offered to drive Lu to school. Lucky arrived pulled his car along side BJ�s. BJ looked at her cousin and smiled. �Hey, he made it!� �Yeah and time to spare this time,� Lucky said as he climbed out of his car. �How is Luke?� BJ asked. �Ok. I think he is feeling like a bit low at this moment but I think he will be fine,� Lucky said locking his door and starting to walk towards the school with BJ. �How you doing with all this?� BJ asked. �I�m still ticked at him,� Lucky said coldly. BJ got Lucky�s unspoken request to drop the subject and she did just that. The pair met Emily and Josh in the cafeteria. �Hey, look who finally figured out school starts at eight,� Josh said smiling as he saw Lucky. �Very funny,� Lucky said as he undid his topcoat. Lucky looked at BJ and said, �Did Stefan tell you we have a new aunt?� �What? No? Who?� BJ said as she leaned closer to Lucky to get all the dirt on the family. �Kristina, you know the woman that help decorate the company for us. It turns out her mother was one of Mikkos unlucky loves,� Lucky said sadly. �Man, how many does he have?� Josh asked. �That is what dad asked last night at supper,� Lucky said laughing. �I wonder if father knew about it?� BJ muttered to herself. �I don�t think so but grandfather didn�t say anything about it. All I know is she knows about us but doesn�t like the idea just yet. So, if you meet her watch what you say,� Lucky told BJ. �I be good,� BJ said wondering what this Kristina was like. ****************************** Laura and Luke arrived at the hospital. Luke noticed the extra guards in the parking garage and the extra camera�s around. �Stefan really dished out a lot of money for this,� Luke commented. �I�m grateful for it. I worry about Amy going home by herself. She says she goes with friends but you know how flighty Amy is sometimes,� Laura said smiling at the thought of her sister. �We could put a guard on her?� Luke said as Laura pushed his chair towards the elevator. �I offered but she said no,� Laura said as she hit the button for the floor they wanted. Luke shook his head in wonder. Amy was a real piece of work. There was a mad man out their killing blonds and she refuses protection. No wonder she hadn�t found a man yet. Who would want her? Laura and Luke exited the elevator. They spotted Scott standing at the near by nurses station. �I wonder what he is doing here?� Luke muttered taking control of his chair and going towards Scott. �Luke,� Laura begged but it was no stopping him. Luke wheeled his chair right into the back of Scott�s legs. �Hey,� Scott snapped. �Sorry,� Luke said smiling brightly. Scott glared at Luke and waved the file he was reading. �Did you say that to your son when you ran over his hand?� Luke looked at the file and realized that Baldwin had his Lucky�s medical records. �Give me that,� Luke pulling the file from Scott�s hand. �What are doing with this?� �Doing some background check on and old case,� Scott said pulling the file out of Luke�s hand. �What case? What does this have to do with my son?� Luke demanded. Scott smiled and said, �My predecessor never bought Damion and Sam�s deaths. I don�t either. It was too neat and clean. It has your finger prints all over it or maybe you let your uncle do your dirty work this time.� Luke glared at Scott but it was Laura that spoke up. �Damion Smith died of a blood clot and Sam took his own life. Luke and Victor had nothing to do with it,� Laura said coldly as she pulled Lucky�s file from Scott�s hand. Scott didn�t dare go for it. He just nodded his head and said, �Believe what you want. You always will.� Scott then left leaving Laura standing there with a shocked looked on her face and Luke in his chair fuming. �Now do you believe he is out on a witch hunt?� Luke asked his wife. �Yeah,� Laura said sadly. She had wished Scott had moved on with his life but it looked like he hadn�t. He was still the same old Scott. Laura took control of Luke�s chair and they headed on to Alex�s office. ************************* BJ arrived at her desk around four that afternoon. She worked from four to seven every evening doing research in the research department. The job wasn�t the most existing job on the planet but she was learning about all the different departments in the company at least. BJ was looking into some details about the history of fashion when someone�s hand lightly touched her shoulder. BJ jumped out of her skin and turned to see Lucky standing their smiling at her. �You left this on the hood of my car,� Lucky said as he placed BJ�s chemistry book on her desk. �Thanks,� BJ said turning around smiling at her cousin. BJ noticed the other girls in the office staring at Lucky. BJ shook her head and said, �I wonder if any of them realize your young enough to one of their son�s.� �Oh, they realize it but they are all thinking the same thing. �Look at me!� Lucky said laughing. BJ shook her had and they talked for a bit. About ten minutes later a woman walked up to the pair and said, �Mr. Spencer, I don�t mind out taking time out to talk to your cousin but your presents here is causing my ladies to stop working. Do you mind leaving?� �No,� Lucky said smiling at BJ�s boss. �See you later, BJ,� Lucky said to his cousin and he walked away. BJ watched in disgust as the women watched mournfully as Lucky walked away. �Get lives,� BJ said coldly the moment Lucky was out of earshot and she went back to work. **************** Lucky was walking to his car when Scott Baldwin walked up to him. �Can we talk?� Scott asked. �About what?� Lucky asked coldly. �About the kidnapping and the statement you gave to Commissioner Taggert and ADA Jenson,� Scott said calmly. Up on the top floor Victor was in his office. One of his security guards popped his head through the door and said, �I thought you would want to know. DA Baldwin is talking to the prince.� Victor put down his pen and went to the camera room. �Let me have sound,� Victor ordered. You heard Scott�s voice in the speaker. �Tell me, Lucky. What are you hiding when it comes to Alice?� Victor slammed his fist down and as he cursed, �I�ll rip that bastard apart!� ********** Downstairs in the legal department, Alexis was having a meeting with her staff when her secretary walked into the room. �Mr. Victor Cassadine called, he wants you to go outside in the parking lot. It seems DA Baldwin is asking the young prince some questions about his old nurse Alice.� �Damn it,� Alexis muttered as she put her note pad down. �I�ll be back,� Alexis to the group as she headed down to the parking lot. Alexis had gotten a phone call from Luke telling her that Scott had gotten into Lucky�s medical records but now he was corning Lucky himself. Alexis started to wonder if Scott had a death wish or something because no one in their right mind would hit this family this way without one! ************************* �What are talking about? I�m not hiding anything about Alice,� Lucky said trying to get to his car but Scott was blocking his path. �Tell me why then did you have an AIDS and STD test done?� Scott asked Lucky. Lucky went white. How did he know about that? Only his parents and Alex knew about those tests not even his grandfather knew about those tests. He didn�t even tell Emily about them. �Well?� Scott asked calmly. �Or is their something about your life that hasn�t been report?� Lucky wanted to hit the guy. In fact he started to take a swing at him but Victor had come out of nowhere and grabbed the kids arm. �Baldwin, I think you have gone far enough with this line of questioning,� Victor said coldly. �I was just cleaning up some facts,� Scott said calmly. �Without a minor�s parents or his lawyer around?� Alexis said coming up behind Scott. �Mrs. Corinthos,� Scott said shocked to see her standing there. He was starting to wonder if the kid was wired for sound. �Yes, Mr. Baldwin. I�m glad we finally got to meet. Now, if you want we can finish this conversation up in my office where is should be,� Alexis said calmly as she moved between Lucky and Scott. Lucky tried very hard to hid his smile. He knew that look in Alexis�s face and realized that she was about to really give it to old Scotty boy. �Mrs. Corinthos, I was just trying to clear up some points on an old investigation,� Scott said calmly. �Mr. Baldwin, I want to point out that Lucky here is still considered a minor until he turns eighteen. Even after that point I insist that you connect me before asking any questions with him. In fact, I don�t want you near a member of this family without my presents. Are we clear?� Alexis asked Scott getting right in his face. Scott backed up just a bit and said, �Fine have it your way.� Scott turned around and headed for his car. Lucky and Victor smiled as the DA took off. �What�s going on?� Lucky asked his aunt after Scott was gone. �We don�t know,� Alexis said turning to face Lucky. �Great. Scott found something that no one in this family knows about and know tell me why went looking?� Lucky said coldly as he went to his car climbed in then drove away. Alexis looked at Victor and said, �I can�t blame the kid. I had my worst secret thrown back in my face. It isn�t a nice feeling.� �Yeah, and I can�t blame him telling anyone the extent of the abuse. What I�m worried about is what Baldwin is going to do with this bit of information?� Victor said coldly. Alexis thought about this and said, �He isn�t going to do anything.� Alexis walked away but she got into the building. She walked went parking garage to get her to car. She had a little trip to make. Someone ripped her life apart by telling her darkest secret. She wasn�t about to let Scott do that to Lucky just to get even with Luke for a past crime. Not if she had anything to say about it!
