| Chapter 20 Robert found Sonny on the docks watching as ships moved in and out of the harbor. Robert walked up to where Sonny was standing and stood there beside the man watching as the ships moved in and out. �Alexis called you,� Sonny said. �She is worried about you,� Robert said. �Tell her not to,� Sonny said coldly. Robert shook his head and said, �Do you want to talk about it?� �No! I don�t want to talk about it. I don�t want Mike in my life and I wish my wife would just take no for an answer one time,� Sonny yelled turning to face Robert with pure rage written all over his face. �Easy man, I�m not your enemy. Alexis isn�t either. She just wants to help you the way you helped her when Mikkos first came into town,� Robert said. Sonny sighed in frustration as he ran his hand through his hair. �I know. I just wish he would vanish,� Sonny said coldly. �I don�t think that is going to happen. Either way, I think you are going to have to deal with Mike,� Robert said. �What if don�t want to deal with him?� Sonny asked Robert. Robert shook his head and said, �Look, I don�t know the entire story but I know enough to know you have a very good reason to be upset with Mike. Running out on you and your mother was a shitty thing to do but he isn�t to blame for the rest of it all of that belongs to Deke.� Sonny glad at Robert and said, �I bet your father was father of the year.� Robert laughed and said, �He wasn�t perfect but he wasn�t like Mikkos, Deke or Spencer.� �Figures,� Sonny said as he turned back to the water. �Sonny, I might not have had your childhood but I do have some regrets dealing with my father. The last time I saw my father alive we fought. I never got to chance to say I�m sorry because he soon after. So, you want my advice deal with Mike and how you feel about him before Mike isn�t around to deal with any more,� Robert said and then he left Sonny alone to think about what he said. Sonny glared at Robert as he walked way. �What does he know?� Sonny snapped as he went back to watching the boats moving in and out of their ports. Mike came out of hiding as Robert walked away. He had asked Alexis if she knew where Sonny would have gone. The docks was one of the first places Mike decided to check out. �Hi,� Mike said as he walked up beside his son. Sonny turned and at Mike. �Can�t I get rid of you?� Sonny asked. �Michael, Alexis told me what Deke did. I would killed if I would have known,� Mike said sadly. �To late, I beat you to I,� Sonny said and he started to walk away from Mike. Mike wasn�t going to let him walk away from him. He just walked on with Sonny talking as he went. �Michael, please listen to me,� Mike begged. �Why should I?� Sonny asked stopping turning to glare at his father. Mike sighed and said, �I have done a lot bad things and walking out on you and mother was one of them but I was not the one the hurt you. Deke did. Don�t blame me for his mistakes.� Sonny shook his head and said, �I�m not doing that.� He walked away then. Mike let him go this time. He figured Sonny needed time to think about things. Mike was hoping when he was done he would forgive him and give him a second chance. ******************************* Carly arrived home still very angry about what Scott had said to her. �Where you been?� Jason asked coming from the kids� room. He had already fed them and got them working on the schoolwork. �Not now,� Carly snapped and grabbed a glass and poured herself a drink. �What happened?� Jason asked wondering who put his wife in one of her moods this time. �I had a talk with the new DA about my attack. He thinks I asked for it,� Carly snapped after downing her drink. �He what?� Jason said getting little bit upset himself. �Yes, he asked me if I enjoyed it,� Carly snapped. �I�ll kill him,� Jason said going for the door. �He isn�t worth it,� Carly said grabbing Jason�s arm. �I had a take Uncle Mikkos. He told me to let him handle Scott Baldwin.� �Well, if he dares to say that you with me around. I�m going to shove his teeth down his throat,� Jason said as he pulled his wife towards him and held her tight. ********************************** During dinner, the conversation was on Scott and what he was up to, �Scott can�t hold a grudge that long?� Laura said as she passed the fried chicken to Luke. �I think he could,� Luke said coldly. �I don�t like him,� Lu said taking the plate from her father and grabbing a leg. �Join the club,� Lucky said taking the plate from his sister. �I don�t care why he is doing this. I�m going to make sure it doesn�t go any further,� Mikkos said coldly. �You act like he could actually hurt a member of this family,� Laura said fearing that Mikkos might take this a bit too far. �I think that is what the new DA wants to do,� Mikkos said taking a sip of his tea. �Why do you say that?� Lucky asked as he ate. Luke looked at his son and said, �Look at what he has said up to this point. All of it is filled with hate towards this family and me! I say Scott is out for a witch hunt.� �Well, this isn�t going to be his Salem,� Mikkos said coldly. �Ah, can we talk about something else?� Ruby pleaded placing a loving hand on Mikkos arm. Mikkos nodded his head as he sighed, �Your right! Scott wasn�t the reason I wanted to have dinner with you. I have some good news.� �What defy nature and your having a baby,� Luke said jokingly. �In way, her name is Kristina,� Mikkos said smiling. Luke chocked on his food and looked at Mikkos shocked at what he said. �What?� Mikkos smile grew bigger and told Luke and the others about Kristina. Luke looked at Mikkos and asked, �Can�t you keep track of those long lots kids?� Mikkos smiled at Luke and said, �I would be careful if I were you son, you could have a few floating around yourself.� �Me? I was careful,� Luke said smiling. Ruby chocked on that one and the others just laughed. The only one that didn�t understand was Lu. Luke leaned close to his daughter and said, �You�ll understand in a few years.� **************************** Lucas arrived home late for supper. �Hey, where have you been?� Bobbie asked. �With Charlie,� Lucas said as he sat down at the table. �You have been spending a lot of time with Charlie lately,� Stefan commented. �Yeah, he is cool,� Lucas, said taking a seat across from his sister. Stefan shook his head at Lucas word �cool�. He never understood why kids had to use words like that. Why couldn�t they just talk like normal people? �Well, call next time if you are going to be late,� Stefan said to his stepson. �Sure,� Lucas said and they all sat down to eat. Stefan talked to BJ about her job. Sunday was the only time that the family sat down at the table together. They didn�t get a chance to other times. �So, you enjoy working in the research department?� Stefan asked his stepdaughter. �Oh, yeah. I�m really enjoying it. I am learning a lot about the entire company operation from there,� BJ said talking with a bright smile on her face. Bobbie couldn�t help but smile herself. It was nice to see her daughter enjoy something. Unlike medicine, Bobbie saw that BJ could really find a career with the company. *********** After dinner Lucas went to his room and dropped his backpack on his bed. He checked to door to see if it was locked then he walked back to his bed and opened the pack. Lucas pulled out several CD�s and a new DVD. He removed the tags and placed them in the rack. He had gotten good and shoplifting. Charlie said he was a natural and the other guys wanted to spend more and more time with him. Lucas finally felt like he was belonging the trouble was he wasn�t happy with himself. He knew what he was doing was wrong but if he stopped then the others would hate him.
