| Chapter Seven As the lights came back on, Mac and the other detectives were trying to hold Luke in his seat. Sonny and Jason arrived. Sonny turned to Mac and said. �Go after them Mac. Jase and I�ll look after Luke.� �Thanks, Sonny. Everyone stay put. Garcia! I want this whole building searched and put a APB out on Laura Spencer and Stefan Cassadine.� Mac ordered walking toward the exit. �Get off me, Sonny.� Luke said shaking free from Sonny and Jason. �All of you lost your minds. I know Laura and there is no way. She would have hurt Lucky or me. Those two VAMPIRE BATS are behind this.� Luke snarled pointing to Helena and Stavros. �Luke. I know you�re up set but the facts�� Edward started to say. �Quartermaine. Shut up! I don�t get involved in your life. So, stay the hell out mine.� Luke snapped walking toward the judge�s chambers. �Sonny. We need to talk later. Everyone wasn�t telling the truth on the stand. Luke�s right the Cassadines are up to something.� Jason whispered. Luke walked into the office to find Lucky sitting in a chair just looking at nothing. Bobbie and Amy were trying to get him to talk. �Get out.� Luke snapped. Bobbie looked up to say something, but the look. She got from her brother changed her mind. �Let�s go, Amy.� Bobbie said pulling Amy by the arm. Amy was trying to speak. Luke just looked at her and said, �Amy out!� When Luke was sure they were alone. He kneeled down in front of Lucky. �Cowboy? Not everything that was said in that room was true. Laura loved you and she knew about Alexis and me. The reason we didn�t tell you was because it didn�t matter who gave birth to you. What counted was the love you received afterward. That wasn�t Laura on the stand. The Cassadines are up to something and I�m going to find out. What!� Luke said trying to get Lucky to look at him. �Dad weren�t you lessening. She�� Lucky stopped. �Yes. I was lessening, but Lucky. I married your mother and have been married to her for over sixteen years. I know Laura better then any one and that wasn�t her.� Luke said looking directly into Lucky�s eyes. �What if it was? Then what?� Lucky asked. �I�ll make deal with you. I dig for the truth and find out either way, but we�ll hold off judging anyone until then. All right?� Luke asked. �Yes. Dad what about Lulu and Nikolas?� asked Lucky. �Lulu will be told as little as possible. Nikolas, what he dose is up to him, but if he wants to come home and stay with us. I�ll not argue the point. Laura would kill me if anything happened to him.� Luke said. While Luke was talking to Lucky. The rest of the courtroom was trying to figure out what to about the situation. Most of them believed that Luke was in denial and need help. There was even talk of taking Lulu and Lucky until he got his act together. Sonny walked to the middle of the room and shouted. �SHUT UP. The only place Lucky and Lulu are going is home with their father. As for Luke being in denial, I want any of to think about that fact. He just heard that a woman he loved and has been married to for over sixteen years. Wanted not only him but his son dead. When you can do that come and talk.� Sonny said and he went to see what Justice found out. �Dara are you going to press charges against Luke and Alexis on what was said to day.� Justice asked. �No. The DA has a deal with Mac. If Luke and Alexis told the truth and they did. He wouldn�t press charges. Mrs. Cassadine might try but the little fact. She killed Alexis mother and threatened her will most probably change her mind.� Dara said. �Justice. I didn�t want to hit him that hard, but if anyone knew about all this. Stefan and Laura would have skipped town. The only chance any of us had was doing it this way. I just wish Mac would have kept Lucky in the hospital.� Dara said. Just before they could embrace, Sonny walked up and asked. �Justice, what�s going on.� �Luke and Alexis are free to go. The DA isn�t pressing charges and the judge said Luke can have transcripts of the trail to use in a divorce.� Justice said. �I�m glad that no charges are be brought up. I would hate to think about what could happen to Lucky, Lulu, and Nicholas. The Cassadines would pounce on them in a second, but as for a divorce. Luke doesn't believe any of what Laura said on the stand.� Sonny replied. �He can�t still believe in her?� Dara asked. �He does and you�ll need more letters to change his mind.� Sonny said walking away.
