| Epilogue Lucky Spencer was hours away from his twenty-fifth birthday party and he was a nervous wreck. It seemed like yesterday he learned about who his mother was and that he was going to be the Cassadine. It took a lot of work but now the Spencers and the Cassadines were no longer on opposite sides. Luke and Stefan were even talking like normal people. They would never be best friends but at least they weren't killing each other. Nik had taken over running the club. Luke and Laura had spent a lot of time traveling around the world, really seeing places they had only run through in the past. They had arrived just days ago for his birthday and he was glad they could make it. Lu had spent a lot of her time living between Nik and Lucky's homes. She did spend the summer traveling with her parents but now she loved the idea of living with her big brothers. Bobbie and Stefan got remarried about five years ago and they adopted a child. The kid was abandoned at their front door on Christmas and they called him Christian. He had just turned four and Stefan was having trouble keeping up with a rambunctious four-year-old. Bobbie loved being a mother again. Alexis walked in carrying baby Lexie and looked at Lucky, Are you worried about the party? she asked as he tried to get his tie straight. No. I am worried about taking over after tonight. What if I bring everything down and fall flat on my face, Lucky said. You will not do any of that. Stefan and I have prepared you for anything that could happen and beside the Spencer side of you doesn't know the meaning of the word failure. I will meet you downstairs. I am just going to put Lexie to bed, She said Lucky kissed his little sister and said, Nite, Lexie. Sleep tight. The little girl pulled at the tie and yanked it loose. Lucky smiled at her. I think she thought it needed to be redone. Alexis smiled and took the baby to her room. Lucky was trying to retied his tie, but was about to give up when Lizzie walked in and said, You need help? My life saver. Angel, please tie this thing for me, Lucky said turning to his wife. You are a nervous wreck. Calm down, Lucky. Everything will be fine. Nothing can go wrong tonight. Robert has given every guard strict orders not to mess up or else, Lizzie said. I know and it is still strange having Robert looking over my welfare, but he promised dad that as long as he was alive, no one was going to even think about harming me. You ready sweet? Lucky said. Just about but I have one thing to tell you. Lizzie said and whispered something in his ear. Lucky looked at her and said, Are you sure? Yes, I talked to the doctor today. He said the baby is due in about eight months from now, Lizzie said. Lucky picked her up in his arms and swung her around. I love you. I cant wait to tell dad. He is going to be a grandfather. I also cant wait to tell mom and Alexis about this. This kid is going to be spoiled rotten even before it is born, Lucky said. He kissed his wife and then they started down stairs. Lucky felt like everything they had gone through in the beginning was worth the trouble. At least his kid didnt have to worry about a Spencer/Cassadine war. The kid will grow up loved and safe.
