| Chapter Two Luke spent all night looking for Lucky. �Where is that kid?� he thought. The events of yesterday still bothered him. Lucky had turned up to see Lu, and he went out to pick up some stuff for Laura. When he got back, Lucky was falling over the stair rail and hitting the table. Cutting himself on the broken glass and badly from the amount of blood that was on the floor. He tried to help him, but Lucky bolted. Laura said it was an accident. They were fighting and had very sharp words. She reached up to slap him, and Lucky turned the wrong way that is how he ended up flying over the rail. Luke didn�t know what he saw, the only thing that matters right now was to find Lucky. He was hurt and hadn�t turned up at any hospital or clinic in town. He only hoped to find Lucky before something else happens. Alexis walked the doctor to the docks. �Thanks for coming out. I know you�ll be discreet about the whole affair and I�ll make sure the patient follows your orders,� she said. �Your welcome, Miss Davis. I�ll come and check on him in about a day or so. Make sure his arm stays immobile and if the pain gets any worse. Check him into a hospital immediately.� the doctor warned. �I will and have a nice afternoon.� she said heading back up to house. Alexis was still debating going after Luke, but from Lucky�s reaction on getting his parents. Didn�t feel quite right. �Who are you hiding from?� Alexis thought. �Luke? Or Laura?� Nikolas was down stairs starring at his chest board. �Lucky�s asleep.� he said. �The pain pills the doctor gave him knocked him right out. He�ll most probably be out for the rest of the night.� �Nikolas. What are you going to say when your uncle finds out about this?� she asked. �I�ll handle uncle when the time comes. Alexis what did you want me to do. Just leave him on the streets. Lucky sure wouldn�t go to the hospital by himself, and he need medical treatment. Besides his cut, Lucky has two cracked ribs and the doctor thinks his shoulder is cracked as well.� Nikolas stated. �You did the right thing of course, but I�m just trying to warn you of what could come of all of this.� she said. �I�m going to check on Lucky and then I have some papers to go over. I�ll see you in the morning.� Alexis head up stairs. They did all managed to keep Lucky�s hidden for over a month. Luke started to check in the morgues and was afraid one of those times he was going to find him there. As Luke was checking the docks for a sign of Lucky. He caught sight of Lizzie climbing into Cassadines launch with Nikolas. �No. He�s not?� Luke thought. �Well you looked everywhere else. Why not?� Luke headed toward Cassadine Island. Alexis was checking the passages everyday now. Luke was going to show anytime and she wanted to talk to him before he got to Lucky. As she turned the corner, Alexis ran right into Luke. �Alexis. My kid better not be here or there will be hell to pay.� Luke threatened. �Your kid. You sure find a great way of proving it. Lucky has a cracked shoulder and some cracked ribs. The cut on his face took over fifty stitches. Every time any of us try to get him to call home. He freaks. So tell me Luke. What in gods name did you do to our son.� she yelled.
