| Chapter Sixteen Luke and Alexis were shown into the room where all the others except Lucky were waiting. He looked at Victor demanded, �I want Lucky here now.� �Lucky doesn't exist,� Victor said. Luke took a deep breath and said, �Bring Lucas to me, now.� Victor smiled and headed to get Lucky. Luke grabbed the vase and threw it across the room. Looking at the others, he said, �We are going home but not the way I wanted. Lance, sorry son about getting you involve like this, but you are. I promise nothing is going happen to you,� looking at the boy, Luke then turned to Laura and said, �Did they say something about this?� he asked, giving her the paper. �Yes, but it is fake?� she asked him. �I don�t know but I will find out. Laura the only reason any of us, at least the adults are live is because I agreed to marry Alexis,� he said, holding her hand. �Luke, you can�t,� Jason said. �I have to or they will kill us and keep the kids. I�m not turning over my kids to them and Nikolas is part of that, as well. He is Laura�s son and I have to protect everything about her,� he said, pulling her close. �What else?� Sonny asked. �Here is everything. Laura can divorce Stavros and she gets the kids, everyone but Lucky. He is staying with me. I�m turning everything over to her, Sonny. You keep them safe for me. When Alexis and I are married, I have to change my name to Cassadine and so does Lucky,� Luke said, turning away from the group. They all looked at him with shock on their faces. Alexis picked up the story. �We found something out and we don�t know if it is the truth but we will find out. Nikolas, they said that you�re not Stefan or Stavros' son. You�re father could be Luke,� Alexis said walking to comfort him. Laura turned her back and stared to cry. Luke looked at her and said, �What they said was true? They forced you to give up our son and keep this a secret. If you had ever told anyone, all of us would have been killed,� Luke walked, closer to her and pulled her into his arms. �I�m not mad. Secrets have destroyed us Laura, and I�m not letting it happen any more. Lucky is my main concern and we will talk everything out afterwards. I love you and always will, but I�m not letting them hurt my kids. I can�t, not even for us,� Luke said, wiping a tear from her cheek. �Luke, I wanted to tell you but couldn�t live with the outcome if they found out. Nikolas was safe with Stefan. They planted fake memories of him and me. Stavros and I left just after he was born. They didn�t let me see him. I knew Stavros was alive because that was the lie they created. Over the years, Helena must have played with their memories and hid the difference in the years. I left you and Lucky because of her. Stefan was digging and he was about to find out the truth. She called and told me to leave you or Lucky would die,� Laura started to cry and Luke just held her. Nik walked to his mother and said. �I understand, too. We will get out of this mess and destroy the Cassadine family.� Lucky arrived just then and Luke looked up to see his son. Lucky didn�t look good and he was holding his shoulder more then normal. �Are you all right?� he asked. �Yes. Dad, what do they want?� Lucky asked his father. Luke told him and then finished the rest of it for the others. He left out Robert for now. The only ones he was going to tell were Laura, Sonny, and Jason. They were going to figure out a way out of this mess. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It took only a short time to pack and get ready to go to Port Charles. Victor made Lucky fly with him on a separate jet from the others. Luke tried to argue but he was cut off. Victor wasn�t going to let Lucky out of his sight until the wedding was over. The trip was long and trying for the Port Charles group. Everyone was worried about Lucky, he didn�t say much before the group split up and Luke was worried about the pills Victor was forcing him to take. He had to find a way to get Lucky away from Victor. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Luke and Laura walked into the Port Charles police department. Mac was surprised to see her but he wasn�t prepared for what was said. �Mac. I have something for you and this stays between us,� Luke said, handing the picture of Robert over to him. �Where is he?� Mac demanded. �The last time I heard, about five miles off the coast of Italy. He has been moved by now. Get the WSB on this. The Cassadines have him and I don�t know about Anna. Everything you heard and read was fake. Laura never tired to kill Lucky or me. She didn�t even make it back to Port Charles. She was taken five hours away from the house in Carolina. She has been with Cassadines ever since, but you can�t go after them. I hate to tell you this but she is married to Stavros and that isn�t kidnapping. I want them but I want them to go to jail. We need something more concrete,� Luke said. �I agree. What aren�t you telling me?� Mac asked. �Do you want to come to a wedding?� Luke asked him. �Who�s?� Mac asked. �Mine and Alexis Davis'. We're getting married and I have go get the papers. Can you take Laura home?� He asked, and walked out of the room. Mac looked at Laura and she told him the rest. Mac walked out of the office and went to Taggert. �You love making people's lives miserable. Well, Taggert here is your chance. I want Victor and Stavros brought in here as often as you bugged Sonny. They cross the street wrong and they get arrested. V. I want everything you can get on the Cassadines and I want it now. Luke and his son are in trouble. He saved this town more times then I can count and now this town is going to save Luke,� Mac said. Mac walked out of the station holding the picture of Robert. �I promise big brother. You are coming home.� ~~~~~~~~~~~ The wedding was put together in no time. Luke wasn�t allowed near Lucky until then and he didn�t want him to be alone with Victor too long. Everyone was scrambling to get things done. They all were worried about Lucky and they could see the pain it was causing his parents. Laura had changed the name of Luke�s to Spencer�s. She said it would stay up until Luke came home to her. Alexis and Justus worked on Laura�s divorce. Stavros wasn�t fighting it and most of the paper work was travel. They were trying to find a paper trail on him. Robert might be on one of the compounds Alexis didn�t know about. Sonny and Mac locked the town of Port Charles down. The Cassadines made Lucky a prisoner on the island. They were prisoners of Port Charles and Taggert was dragging them in on every little thing. He had become the Cassadines' worst nightmare. The mayor ignored the calls. The Cassadines had lots of money but Quartermaines' and Corinthos' were permanent residents and with the help from the Jax�s family, they didn�t have a chance to get things to be any easier. The wedding goes off without a hitch but the party ends on a down note. The Cassadines are on the brink of winning but Luke turns the table by playing their game.
