| Chapter Seventeen � �Lake and Lucky�s deal� Andrew had spent all day with both Lake and Lucky. He was about to strangle Lake. He turned to him and growled. �Kid. Shut up.� Lake just stared at him but before anything else happened, Lucky stepped beside Lake and told him the same thing. �Lake. You're not going to like what is going to happen. Trust me. I have been beaten by the best and you will not like it.� Lucky said pulling his friend aside. Andrew looked at the two boys and said. �I have a deal for you and Lake. Listen good. You two are going to be responsible for the other one. Lake, everything you do wrong, from this point on, will get Lucky beaten. The opposite goes for Lucky, but kicker is, you�ll do the beating.� Andrew said leaning over the boys. �You can�t do that.� Lake said. �I can and I will. So, if you want to keep Lucky from getting hurt, keep your mouth shut.� Andrew said. �Target practice is in an hour. Mac is going to work with Lake and Lucky with me.� he ordered and headed out of the room. Lake didn�t believe anyone could be so mean. The next day, Lake grabbed the book Andrew had given him and threw it without thinking. He was tired of this bully pushing him around. �I�m not doing this any more,� he yelled. Andrew just smiled at him and grabbing both him and Lucky by the arms. Pulling them into his office. Mac had tried to stop him, but Andrew ordered him to stay out. Mac looked at the clock. The plane with Luke and Robert was landing. He ran to get them before it was too late. �Lake. Did you forget what was going to happen if you messed up?� Andrew asked. �You're not?� Lake said in disbelief. �No. You are.� He said shoving Lucky over the desk. Lucky hadn�t said a word. His mind shut down because he knew what was coming. Andrew pulled his belt off and pushed it into Lake�s hands. Then he pulled the boy closer to him. �Every second you waste is going to be harder on him.� Andrew snapped. Lake slowly pulled his hand up, but Andrew had wrapped his hand around his, making Lake beat Lucky harder then he wanted to. Lucky didn�t even flinch or scream once. Mac had reached the plane just as it stopped. Luke was down the stairs first with Robert next to him. �What�s up?� Luke asked. Mac told both men of the deal and what was happening. Luke and Robert took off running. They hoped to stop any of it before things got worse. Lake was the one screaming for Andrew to stop, but he wasn�t letting up. Suddenly the door crashed in and Luke grabbed Andrew by the neck. �Let them Go!� he said through clenched teeth. When Lake�s arm was free, Luke slammed the old man against the wall, but Andrew had a few surprises for Luke, as well. They began to fight all cross the room and into the compound. Robert turned to Mac. �Take Lucky and Lake to the rooms. I�m going after Luke.� he ordered. Lake tried to get Lucky to speak but his mind wasn�t operating right. Mac looked warily down at him. Michael walked in right then. �What happened?� he demanded. Mac took a deep breath and explained everything. �Do what Robert ordered and get him a doctor. I�m going after Andrew,� he said coldly. Luke hadn�t expected Andrew to be so fast for a man his age. He was in better shape then he looked. Just before anything could go too far Robert and Michael arrived and pulled them apart. Luke was still fuming �You ever get near my son or Lake again and I�m going to rip you a part.� He said to Andrew and turning to Michael. �We had deal, old man.
