| Chapter 3 "Cor!" Carly yelled wiping off the coffee that was on her shirt. "What is wrong with you?" "What was that name?" She whispered. "What? What name?" "Your ex-husband's." "Oh Michael Corinthos?" "Your his wife? But I thought you said his name was Sonny?" "It's a nickname." Carly said wondering what would be the big deal about her being married, well divorce to Sonny Corinthos that Courtney would spit coffee all over her nice, new shirt. Then it dawned on her. "Oh. I see." "You see what Caro?" "He's only an "alleged mobster" You don't have to worry about him. He's just a "coffee importer." That's it" "Wah? Oh no that has nothing to do with it. Uh listen I gotta go." Courtney said grabbing her jacket hurrying out. "Wait!" Carly followed behind, but saw that Courtney was already half way down the block. It was useless. She'll find her again. Port Chuck isn't that big. She turned back and went into her house, pondering what could cause a reaction like that. Sonny's Penthouse He paced the newly decorated penthouse wondering what the heck happened last night to his wife. To say he was upset was an understatement. He knew going back to her house would be useless since she wouldn't open the door. Plus she said she was going to pick up Michael in an hour who is now "conveniently" sleeping so it gives them a chance to talk. Like why wasn't she with her bodyguard? Where is her body guard? "Johnny!" Sonny yelled opening the door to run smack dab into said wife. "Carly." "Sonny. What are you yelling about now?" Carly smiled. "I wanted to know where your bodyguard was last night while some punks attacked you." Sonny said, the anger coming back. Carly laughed. "Attack? Oh no honey. They didn't attack me. They got an a/s/s whooping. Courtesy of Carlybabes." She walked through the door, but stopped dead in her tracks. "The penthouse..." She gestured in awe. Sonny smiled. "You like?" "It's..." "Not a cave?" "Yeah.... Why..." "Why did I do this? Because I remembered that ah you didn't really like the dark colors ... so I thought maybe this would be better when you move in." "When?" Carly asked. "Yes, I have complete faith, that you will." "You do now do you?" Carly grinned. "Sure do." "Well, I'm glad one of us think so." She said. "Now where's Michael?" "Asleep." "Sonny? Asleep? You knew I was going to pick him up in an hour!" "Yeah, well he was tired." Sonny said, dimples showing. "Well, ah, since he is sleeping, might as well talk about what the hell happened last night." "Sonny." Carly sighs. "It doesn't matter." "It doesn't matter? It doesn't matter?" He repeated. "Some, something put his hands on you! And your telling me it doesn't matter?" He yelled in rage. "Calm down. Sheesh Sonny, I get a black eye and you make it seem like I got shot with a bullet. And why does it matter it to you?" She questioned. "God Damn it Carly! You know it matters to me! I want to know who did and find those bastards!" "Oh well gee Sonny, I forgot to go to the guys and say 'Hey what's your names? My hub ex-husband would want to know so he can go kill you. Can you ever forgive me?" She asked sarcastically. "Carly, well can you give a description." "Sure can, they were tall, had hair, wearing clothes, oh and they were guys." "I'm serious here!" "It was dark! I couldn't see." Sonny went to the bar and poured himself a drink. "How do you know that those guys weren't involved in the organization?" "I highly doubt since I was helping Courtney." "Courtney? The girl who was at your house?" "Yes." "They were attacking her?" "Yes." "And you decided to help?" "Yes." "Without a bodyguard." "Yes." "Is that all you can say? Yes?" A Moment of silence. "Yes." Sonny slammed his hands down on the table. "Carly!" "Yes?" She said suppressing giggles, obviously happy that she still got to him. "Arg!" He said rubbing his hands over his face. "You drive me nuts. You know that?" "Yes." She grinned. He couldn't help laughing. Carly soon joined in. "Can you promise me one thing?" Sonny asked. "Depends." "Could you not ditch your bodyguard?" "Fine." "Fine? That's all you have to say?" "What? Were you expected a big fight where I threw a tantrum?" "Sorta. I kinda missed our fights." "Yeah me too, almost as much as I miss what happened after our fights." She slyly grinned as she made her way over to him. "Now what happened after the fights?" He asked. "Well, you know it's kind of hard to explain..." She played with his top buttons. "But you know, ah Carly, you can show me if it's to difficult to ex... The door burst open cutting off Sonny's sentence... Chapter 4 Back to Amante |
