To F. Scott Fitzgerald
I adore your writings. Your graceful prose captifies me, and mystifies me, as it wraps me up in a state of bliss. Your prose, is gorgeous to the point where no other word could ever describe it. It doesn't matter that your characters are oftentimes loosely based on you. I enjoy reading those stories. I can't ever be like you, but you are my literary idol, my literary hero.

Oh, I may not be from the 1920's, but if I could relive a historical era, that would be the era of my choice. You may have been an alcoholic, but I know you probably didn't scribble your prose while drunk out of your mind.

So, to my hero, F. Scott Fitzgerald, I shall say that I am a dilettante in love.
