Soothing Sleepover
Alan set up a cosy and warm sleeping area for that evening. David was going to come over and they were
going to have another sleepover. He put a tent inside the sitting room, and then set some sleeping bags, blankets,
and pillows in the tent as well. The doorbell rang; it was David, with a travelling bag filled with his necessities.
"Alan! I'm so glad to be with you!" David exclaimed, hugging Alan. "I've set up a nice and cosy space just for

us," explained Alan, helping David set aside his bag. "I'll put my bag in the tent."

David set his bag in the tent, and sat inside of it. It was large, but cosy at the same time. He then left the tent,

and sat on the sofa. Meanwhile, Alan walked out of the kitchen, with two cups of tea. David stood up, and

helped Alan with the tea cups. "I'll help you," he continued, walking into the kitchen. He brought out a bowl of

biscuits, which were aromatic and luscious. "David, I know that there are a lot of emotionally draining moments,

but I want you to know that I'm here for you," Alan warmly stared into David's eyes.

"I'm here for you too, Alan. We;ve only got each other," replied David.

They were both emotionally tired, and they needed each other to cope with their lives. David reached for a

chocolate covered biscuit and took a bite from it. "I love these biscuits," he gently sighed. Alan himself was

savouring a fudge biscuit, and they savoured their dessert that night. Since they were done with their tea, Alan

suggested that they should wash up, and then step inside the tent; they had already planned to spend the night

together for the next few days anyways. After they had washed up, the two lovers stepped inside of the warm,

comfortable tent. It had a few blankets beneath the sleeping bags for a mattress-like surface, then there were the

sleeping bags, pillows, and the warm blankets to cover them. But they did not feel like automatically drifting to

sleep---the boys needed to talk over their worries and fears, and they needed to confide into each other. "You

know, I...feel unappreciated, and hopeless and times. You feel that the entire world is pressing down on you,

and it creates stress...." Alan told David, almost crying. "It's going to be OK," David soothed him. A tear fell

from Alan's eye, and David wiped it off, but by the time both confided into each other, both of their eyes were

tear-stained. Alan and David slipped inside the cosy sleeping bags, and then pulled the blankets on top of them.

They were safe and sound, pacified by each other, and soothed by each other. They were both surrounded

by warm blankets, and sleeping bags, inside of a large tent. The world could not harm the two emotionally

fragile men, at least for the time being. The very thought of being together, as well as the emotional and physical

warmth calmed them down, as they finally fell asleep inside the tent.
