| Niles Crane reflected on Frasier's words..."I couldn't have done it without you." This, of course, referred to Frasier's experience losing his job, going through an emotional crisis, and then regaining his job again. The catharsis that Frasier went through was painful to watch, but, in the end, it was Niles himself that helped him. Their father, Martin, wasn't quite as understanding. Roz's words weren't that soothing to him, even though the two were co-workers and friends. There were numerous occasions were Niles emotionally helped Frasier, and times when Frasier helped soothe Niles as well. They really only have each other, in some matters. Niles still remembered the first time they kissed...his lips sweetly and gently touching his own...the sensation of time stopping.... Niles lay on the sofa, softly closing his eyes, trying to reflect on their relationship. He knew that they had a date the next day, and he couldn't wait for it. The two brothers could relax, have fun, and truly express themselves on a date. They didn't have to feel awkward around their father, who really didn't understand the two, and who would probably disown his two sons if he found out about their relationship. Shortly afterwards, he fell asleep....dreaming of his brother's dulcet voice. |
