That follows me
This blue eyed boy

Bernard Sumner was dreamily staring into Neil Tennant's eyes when Bernard suddenly asked Neil,
"Do you think we were meant for each other?"
Neil looked up at the younger man's face, put down his cup of tea and replied, "I don't believe in
destiny, honey and I thought you didn't believe in it, too." .
"No, not in that sense...I was just trying to...trying to ask if we really make a good couple." Stumbling
upon words, Bernard had a boyish expression similar to an eager schoolboy's. "Bernard, whenever I feel
down and I see that adorable face of yours, it makes me want to smile as well. Actually, your personality
and you yourself cheers me up. And even though there may be some times when we are both tired or
irritable, in the end, just as you can cheer me up, I suppose I'm cheering you up too." Neil thoughtfully
told Bernard. "Yeah, you know, those days after I finish recording or making a new song, when I'm
tired, nobody but you can sooth me and make me feel worthy." Bernard replied again.
Like a bright light on the horizon

Neil gently placed his hand on Bernard's hair, still shimmering with a youthful shade of blond. "You
never know what's going to happen everyday, so really, it's quite important to have someone to talk to,
someone to be with you, someone to understand you. It doesn't matter if it's a man or a woman, just like
it doesn't matter if the person you're in love with is a man or a woman. Anybody, now, I wouldn't
necessarily use the term 'soulmate', but anybody who will be like that to a person is wonderful. And to
some extent, even just by being with each other, we give each other hope." Neil put his hand down
and gazed back into his eyes. "Hope..." Bernard pondered.

"I think we're here to stay. You know, no matter what anyone else says, Hooky, Stephen, Phil, Gillian
or anybody else, we're probably stil going to give hope and love and affection to one another and live our
lives together." Bernard slowly said, as if he was quietly declaring to the whole world his love for Neil.
We're here to stay
"Yes, Bernard, you and I are here to stay."
