already done a Christmas party with the remaining members of Depeche Mode, so they decided to
celebrate New Years on their own. Like any other gathering, they were going to have a sleepover
celebration.
"Alan, it's already 9:00 PM...I can't believe that there's only three hours of this year left." David
remarked to Alan.
"Yeah, I know."
Alan was drinking a glass of champagne, while David was busy making his own cocktail.
"David, I put your blankets and belongings in my room so we can sleep together tonight."
David came into the room, with his cocktail, and replied, "Thanks, Alan."
They hadn't slept over at each other's flat for a while, and they had looked forward to thie event.
They spent last year's New Years at a pub drinking, so this year, they wanted to stay inside, where it
was warm and cosy. They spent the night chatting what had happened over the year, while drinking
their drinks and remembering what a year it was.
The clock was already at 0:00 when Alan suddenly kissed David, mumbling, "Happy New Years!"
David then got up to put the champagne glasses away in the kitchen, and then Alan left to prepare
their sleeping area.
"Alan, I know you haven't been in our band for a while now, but I love you, and I want our relationship
to last."
"I love you too, David," replied Alan.
