The Beginning of the Game
You and your opponent shuffle your decks. When you are both done, You both show the bottom card of your decks. Who ever has the card that costs more to play choses who goes first. Put your deck face down. You both draw seven (7) cards from top of your own decks. You should have a mix of land, creatures ans other cards. (i.e. instants, enchantments, etc.) Do not let your opponent see what is in your hand. Ideally, you should have 3 lands, 2 creatures, 2 instant/ enchantments
or
4 lands, 2 creatures, 1 instant/ enchantment. Your creatures should cost from 1 to 3 land your enchantments and/or instants should also cost 1 to 3 land.
