Objective:
To have our guests experence the Greek Cuisine and Greek Culture. Greek
Music will be playing as well as information leaflets which will be
distributed informing everyone on how to dance Greek and Greek culture.

Introduction and information will be distributed. Drinks will be served to
those who want.
13:30
Lunch will begin to be served. It will be based on a self service all you
can eat and everyone will take their food. Their will be music playing and
coversation between our guests. The menu will include:
After
Lunch: After luch we will be raffling off the prizes which
will be available. There will be a total of 8 winners and their names will
be chosen out of a hat. The prizes will include different food products
from Greece.We are also discussing with the importer of the Greek products
to Brazil, to created various baskets of Greek products to be sold at the
event to those who want.
After the distribution of the
prizes this will be the time when everyone can start dancing Greek and
mingling with each other. It will be turned into a Greek Banayeri which
means dance. There will be dancing until 19:00pm

The end of our first Greek Gathering. We will have a suggestion box at the
exit of the party and we strongly ask everybody to fill out a small form
which will be distributed at the party.
Menu
"Mezedes"
Mezedes are the appetizers, which
precede any meal over which particular care has been lavished. The Greek
Cuisine is so rich in appetizers that there is a constant risk of never
getting past them and on to the main dish.
Tzaziki
is a special white sauce that is made with garlic, yogurt, olive
oil, and cucumbers. It is a traditional appetizer in Greece and can be
eatten with bread, meat, salads or just by itself. It is also used heavily
with the famous Gyros.
Melitzanosalata
is an appetizer that is made with eggplants, lemon, olive oil, onions, and
parsley. It is also eaten in the same manner as Tzaziki
Salads
A good salad is certain to make a
fine dish even finer. We will over to you one of the most typical salads
in Greece.
Choriatiki
slata is made with *Feta Cheese
tomatoes, cucumber, onions, peppers, olives, olivie oil, viniger, oregano
and salt and pepper.
*There
is one important item that is missing and impossible to find here in
Brasil is the Feta Cheese so we have substituted with Minas Cheese.
Freskia
salata tria chromata is made with white cabbage, red
cabbage, carrots and lemon juice. It is a tasty salad to enjoy before your
meals.
"Main
Course"
Moussaka
is a very famous dish known throughout the world and has been made for
thousands of years. There are 3 types of moussaka one that is made with
meat and another that is not . Moussaka is made with eggplants, mince
meat, olive oil, onions, tomatoes, white wine, salt pepper , grated cheese
and white bechamel sauce. We will be serving both types of moussaka so if
you are vegetarian tell us.
Gemista
is another very old traditional food in
Greece. They are stuffed tomatoes, peppers, or squash. We will be making
it with tomatoes , peppers, squash, onions, tomatoe juice, parsley, rice,
olive oil , mince meat, sugar and salt and pepper. *We
will also be making a version which will not include mince meat.
Desert
Portocali
Glico: Portocali Glico is a type of sweet that is made with
oranges as well as other fruits , sugar, lemonjuice and water. It will be
served after the lunch.
