Here is a game I have created to help introduce directions to my son. Start on any direction and the object is to land on the spaces with stars on them...when you do collect a bean (we are using plain kidney beans but you may use counters or slips of paper or anything) Select a number before starting to play and first one to collect that many beans wins. The cards will have numbers next to two directions and the player needs to follow the cards directions. For example if the card says north 2 west 3 the player needs to move their piece 2 spaces north and 3 space west. If a certain move is not possible then the player skips that part of the direction. (will only happen at the edge of the board)
Print out a few sets of the cards and one board....add numbers to two directions I used only 1,2,or 3 and have fun!! |
