Okay here is my first attempt at a game/ chore chart.  I hope you and the kids like it...I know my son is ready to start his today!!
Here is how I will use it...feel free to change it to fit your needs and I will be adding other themes soon (let me know if there is one you'd like to see)   First print both the game board and the firemen.  Let the kids color the truck and the fire man they want to use.  Then cover both with contact paper or slip into a sheet protector.  Now make a list of the 8 chores you'd like to be done in a day/week.  Label the sheet 1 to 8 and attach on the outside of the contact paper so it can easily be changed as needed.  Attach
velcro to the back of the fireman and to each rung of the ladder next to the # (on top of contact paper).  The kids start in the truck and as they complete each chore on the list they climb that rung of the ladder until they reach the top.  Attach the chore list with velcro in the space to the right of the ladder.  You could have diferent chores for each day if needed and change them easily.

You could also use this as a kindness chart for the week.  Have a normal chore chart but when the kids do something nice for someone in the family they get to go up one rung.  Make a chart for each child and whoever gets the highest by Friday or Sat. gets to choose dinner one night or a movie or a special activity.  The possibilities are endless.  This would be only for things the child does without being asked to do.
The fire men for the board are on the yahoo group.
