~Almond~
Spiritland Cemetery - The cemetery got it's name by one of Almond's earliest setters, Dewit McLaughlin, who claimed that the spirit of his wife would visit him while he was in the cemetery. This is also one of the cemeterys that Ed Gein did his grave robbing in.


~Appleton~
Kate Blood's tombstone - It is said that Kate killed her husband and three children before she took her own life. They where then buried outside of the cemetery because of her gruesome crime. Kate's tombstone now oozes blood at midnight during a full moon. Kate did not kill her husband, She died before him. Nor did she ever have children. The three "children's" headstones are actualy Kate's, her husband George's, and his second wife Mary's. Some have claimed to see apparitions and shadowly figures in the area around Kate Blood's tombstone.


~Canton~
Pioneers Rest Cemetery - Often referred to as the "Bantley Graveyard", because of a story in where Mr. Bantley murdered his wife and four children in the graveyard and then hung himself in the barn next to the graveyard. It is said that you can see the ghost of a little girl (one of the Bantley children?) sitting in the tree inside the graveyard. It is also said that a satanic cult that used the barn for religious rituals would use the birdbath in the graveyard for religious sacrifices and it is covered with blood stains. Another story says that two boys where running around in the graveyard at night when a hand reached up and grabbed one of the boys leg, which caused him to die of fright. The body of the other boy was found dead lying outside the graveyard.


~Caryville~
Sand Hill Cemetery - Ghosts of children have been seen playing in the cemetery. The children are not shy and will approach and try to speak to you. A tall dark shadowy demon like figure named "Blackie" has been seen, and heard growling from inside the cemetery. Ouija boards had been known to go out of control while inside the cemetery.

Peterson Cemetery - I have listed this cemetery because while I was inside of it taking pictures something unseen slaped the back of my hand hard as if to tell me to stop. None of the pictures from that cemetery, or any that I took the rest of that day, turned out.


~Cedarburg~
Founders Park - This cemetery is where the early settelers of Cedarburg are buried. People tend to get strong, bad feelings while in the park, like they are not wanted there. Cold spots are offten felt. Some feel like they are being watched. It is said that there is two crows in the park at all times.


~Fifield~
Forest Home Cemetery - People have reported uncomfortable feeling while in the cemetery. Some have witnessed shadows moving through out the headstones, and others have heard voices while being there at night time. It is said that photos taken inside the cemetery will show orbs and ecto mist swirling around the headstones. While I was there I did notice a lot of bugs flying around, and that could explain the orbs.

Walnut Grove Cemetery
- A man hung himself in the cemetery and was not found untill his decapitated head rolled down the hill. Apparitions have been seen in the cemetery, and some of them glow with a reddish light. Strange noises and lights have been experienced in the woods just outside the cemetery. A second cemetery is hidden in the woods.

~Green Bay~
 
Fort Howard Cemetery
- In the back older park of the cemetery, strange little figures have been seen darting between and behind the trees. Weird lights and shadows are often seen moving from tombstone to tombstone. People sometimes get strange feelings like they are being watched while inside the cemetery.

~Greenlake~

Dartford Cemetery
- Haunted by Chief "Highknocker", the last to rule the Ho-Chunk Indians in the area. He drowned while trying to swim across Green Lake. There is a mausolem that is filled with bodies of children who died of polio. it is said if you sit on top of the mausoleum, the ghost children will push you off. The ghost of a civil war soldier has also been see wandering around the tombstones looking for his fallen comrads.

~Juneau

Tabor Cemetery
- Apparitions have been witnessed roaming the cemetery at night. Many cold spots are felt while inside the cemetery. Some have claimed to see epiphanies of the Virgin Mary and have even returned from the graveyard with stigmata like blood stains on their hands.

~Lawrence~

Lawrence Cemetery
- Offten refered to as the old Cady Cemetery. Many have experienced strange growling sounds while others have seen orbs and strange lights. Some have wittnessed a mysterious fog, and have had feelings of trepidation. Lights in the storage shed turn on and off while nobody is inside. I have had a personal experence in where the windshield wipers on my van turned on inside the cemetery, and would not turn off untill after I left.

~Ledgeview

Greenwood Cemetery
- Strange mists have been seen inside the cemetery. Many diferent cold spots have been wittnessed through out the cemetery. Some have claimed to have heard wispering like voices. Others get strong feelings that they are not welcome and need to leave right away. This cemetery has been a party spot for local teenagers in the 60s & 70s. The distruction left behind might have angered the resting spirits.

~Oconomowoc~

La Belle Cemetery
- Inside the cemetery is a large statue of a woman standing next to a cross. Some people have said they have seen the statue come to life, walk over to a near by lake, and drown herself. It is also said that sometimes you can see blood dripping from the hands of this statue.

~Oshkosh~

Riverside Cemetery
- Many have witnessed apparitions of children frolicing and playing in the cemetery late at night. Others have witnessed "Shadowpeople" on the walking trails located directly behind the cemetery.

~Plainfield~

Plainfield Cemetery
- This was Ed Geins favorite cemetery for grave robbing. It is said that he disturbed so many the spirits in this cemetery can no longer rest. Ed is now buried there next to his mother, father, brother, and many victims such as Bernice Worden, and her son Frank, the deputy that found his mother's lifeless body hanging upside down in Ed's tool shed. No wonder there are so many angry spirits in this cemetery!

~Readfield

Evangelical Lutheran Zions Cemetery
- Inside the cemetery is a gravestone with a large marble ball that sits on top of it. It is said that the ball turns every full moon. It will never be seen in the same position twice.


~Rib Lake~
Lakeview Cemetery - The cemetery is said to be haunted by the ghost of a young boy who was killed in a automobile accident, and is now buried in the cemetery. During the month of September (supposedly the month the boy was killed) strange sounds like moaning can be heard, and that you can see the the ghost of the little boy running around. Next to the cemetery is an RV campground, and the little boy has sometimes been spotted in the campgrounds

~Saint Nazianz~

Loretto Hill Cemetery
- In the back of the cemetery is the crypt of Father Oswald. It is said that he roams the grounds riding on his white horse. All members of the Society of Divine Savior are buried here. All the headstones have been seen alternately sinking and rising.

~Shirley

Zion Lutheran Cemetery
- At night the cemetery is said to glow with a pale greenish light. This light moves to different areas among the tombstones, but most often seen in the south east corner. It has even been reported that this "light" has followed people out of the cemetery and down the road.

~Stevens Point~

Calvin Blood Cemetery
- Calvin Blood was said to be a deserter during the Civil war. His Battalion tracked him down a hung him from the tree that overlooks his grave. This tree will bleed drops of blood if you break a branch off. Blood has also been found on Calvin's tombstone. People have been chased away by a weird blue light. Some have experienced mechanical problems with their vehicles while visiting the cemetery.

St. Peters Cemetery
- The cemetery is said to be haunted by the ghost of a 8 ft tall headless chicken. Yes, you read that right! Some have claimed to have found chicken feathers in the back of the cemetery. We never found any feathers, or headless chickens, but I did find a headstone that said Peck!

~Strum~

St. Paul's Cemetery
- Strange haunting activity occurs during the full moon. Mysterious shadows have been seen moving through out the cemetery. Weird lights have been seen, and strange noises such as whispering voices, children crying, and women screaming.

~Waukesha~

Tabernacle Cemetery
- A ghost of a man has been seen standing next to the tree right behing the cemetery marker. Weird lights have been seen next to the fence. Other mysterious lights will shine at you from the northwest corner of the cemetery. If you drive by the cemetery at night, a ghostly truck will follow you untill you get back to town.

~Tomahawk~

Calvary Cemetery
- Many report odd smells such as roses, rotten flesh. Some have reported sightings of orbs. Sounds of walking, growling, talking, whispering, and babies crying have been heard. Certain spots get windy when there is no wind. And other spots get colder than what the weather is at that time. People have also seen shadows of dark figures but could not tell whether it was a man or woman or child or adult.
