That's our name, but we're not all about labs. All canines* are welcome in our classes.
*Note* Dogs that are aggressive toward other dogs and people should not attend this class. It's a risk to everyone involved.
Our Philosophy:
You don't have to be a professional dog trainer to train your own dog. That is why we simply show YOU techniques that work and let you decide what is best for you and your dog. We do not dictate what treats to use, what kind of collar to buy, or how to correct your dog when it responds improperly. You know your dog better than we do.
What to Bring to Class:
A collar and leash A bag of your dog's favorite treats A hungry dog
About the Classes:
- Classes are Basic Obedience and are 8 weeks in length. We meet on Saturdays from 1 to 2 pm. The next class begins on 5 June 2006 and ends 31 July (no class 4th of July weekend). - The cost of the class is $20 per dog. Fee is due the first day of class and is non-refundable. - Dogs must be at least 7 weeks old to participate. - Limit of 5 dogs per class as it is easier to provide individual attention with fewer students. - Instructor will provide dog's handler with information on how to contact a Canine Good Citizen test administrator at end of classes if desired. - If you would like to participate in a more advanced class, talk to me and we may be able to work something out.
