Theorizing that one can time travel within his own life time, Doctor Sam Beckett stepped into the Quantum Leap Accelerator and vanished. He woke to find himself trapped in the past, facing mirror images that were not his own and driven by an unknown force to change history for the better. His only guide on this journey is Al, an observer from his own time, who appears in the form of a hologram that only Sam can see and hear. And so Doctor Beckett finds himself leaping from life to life, striving to put right what once went wrong, and hoping each time that his next leap will be the leap home...

I loved 'Quantum Leap' from the first time I saw it - about 9 years ago. I can still remember my first thoughts about the show - I was about 12 years old and I saw the show in English without translation (which I needed back then since my first language is Hebrew, and I was just at my first year of learning English); becasue of that, it was hard for me to understand the story line at first. I actually thought that Al was an angel who was helping Sam to put right where once went wrong :)

It took me another 7 years before I got to see the show again, and sure, I had the books to "keep the flame alive" but it wasn't just that; QL will always have a special place in my heart and thoughts, because I saw and still see it as more than just a sci fi show. It's a drama series about two people who share a bond that's stronger than just any friendship, and the hard choices that they have to make when faced in certain situations.

What I see in it means so much to me that I still think of the show and I am happy for every chance that I have to analyze it...more than 8 years after the last episode.

So, this is my little tribute to my favorite show of all times...
