NANA MARY ANN
Hi, Nana Mary Ann here.  As you can see, I am a very proud grandmother (Nana).  These are Nana's darlings, MiKenzie and Erica.  Erica has a baby brother,Dylan Ray, (see Birth Announcement at right)!  MiKenzie has a new baby sister, Morgan Lea (see Birth Announcement at bottom)!  Picture to come! Nana works as a Social Services Counselor in an addictive disorders center and Papaw farms.
I love to sing gospel music and my husband and I are members of a gospel group, The Blood Washed Band, along with our good friends, Kathy and Harold and Bro. Randy.  Papaw Meade likes  to garden and raise cattle.  I am also blessed to be a member of First Place, a Christ-Centered Health Program.  Check out the link on this page.
We have a great family - daughter, Andrea and husband, Anthony, parents of MiKenzie, live next door.  They are expecting their second child in March!  Our daughter, LeAnne, and husband, Bubba, are Erica and Dylan's parents.  They live in Natchitoches.   I have one wonderful sister, Dottie Lou, who has been more of a mother than sister to me, and one great brother, Fred, and his wife, Charlotte, who is like my own sister.  I have one brother-in-law, Bobby and his wife, Linda, who are great Christian friends as well.  I also have a great friend, who is also my "soul" sister, Connie.  We have many wonderful friends at our church, First Baptist of Provencal --too many to name.  Our greatest friend of all, however, is Jesus Christ, who loves us and died for us.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever (that means you and me) believeth in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life.   John 3:16
                                        God's Love...
God loves us, not only as a host of human beings who are living on the earth at this time, but as individuals whom He knows by name.  He has a personal interest in each one.  He has a perfect plan for every detail in the life of each individual.  He is not willing that any should perish, but wants all mankind to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4).

The greatest and most profound expression of God's love for us is in the death of Christ on the cross.  Men rejected the Lord Jesus Christ as God's Son, falsely accused Him, condemned Him to death, beat Him, crowned Him with thorns, spit on Him, made sport of Him, crucified Him with thieves, and ridiculed Him.  While they were doing this, He forgave them and paid the penalty of their sin by dying for them.

This speaks most powerfully of the extent of God's unchanging, everlasting love.  There is no greater expression of love than for a man to lay down his life for his friends.
