Here is the front of our humble abode. Note the detail work - this is actually part of the brick work, and is the only house in town with such detail. As you can see, we are surrounded by mature elm, evergreens and lilacs. These photos were taken late in the year, after the house had been left abandon for over a year.
Here is the side, showing the rear bedroom windows, the gable for the stair way and one of the kitchen windows (also with brick details...)
Here is the west side of the house. Again, you can see brick detail similar to the east side (and our abomination of a bathroom addition. That will soon change to a gabled side coming off the kitchen, with possible board and batten siding).
Here are some of the details on the front of the house. Some of these features carry over to the sides also - the window trim and the diagonal striping, as seen above.
This is our front door. Pretty narrow huh? We had to take measurements to make sure our furniture could get in the door, up the stairs and around the corner!
Window detail. These are two of the windows that have not been upgraded. They are still (original?) wood sills and frames.
