We had Mr. Bairrington from MEDC come talk to our class about the growth of Mansfield. Did you know that Mansfield has 35,300 people living here? We are the 3rd fastest growing city in Tarrant County! From the year 2003 - 2010 there is going to be a change from 35,300 people living here to 70,000 people. A lot of the people in Texas say that we have the best schools and district . The number of kids that go to school in Mansfield is 19,100! Almost all the people in Mansfield have a high school degree. We grow about 10% every year. In the Northeast is where we grow the most. I had a great time learning about the growth of Mansfield and I hope that Mr. Bairrington will come again.
