| The Mansfield Public Library is very interesting to me. This is so because it is very spacious in side. It has a lot of computers, books, and movies. The library is somewhere you can just go for a project or anything. It was built in 2001. It opened in the summer of 2001. Mansfield owns the Public Library. |

The library I did was built in 2001. They had another library before that, here is some history on that library. The Mansfield Public Library began in 1921. Ida Nichols was the librarian and continued with this work until she died in 1960. First the Library was in Mansfield Drug Store on Main Street. Later it was in a grocery store. Then it in a hardware store. Then it moved to a doctor's office. Finally it was moved to Memorial Hall. In 1956, Memorial Hall was torn down and moved to a grocery store again. It was moved again to City Hall. Then the new library was built on Westria Street |
