The library I did was built in 2001. They had another library before that, here is some history on that library. The Mansfield Public Library began in 1921. Ida Nichols was the librarian and continued with this work until she died in 1960. First the Library was in Mansfield Drug Store on Main Street. Later it was in a grocery store. Then it in a  hardware store. Then it moved to a doctor's office. Finally it was moved to Memorial Hall.

In 1956, Memorial Hall was torn down and moved to a grocery store again. It  was moved again to City Hall. Then the new library was built on Westria Street
