Caddo Indians

The Caddo Indians food were corn and crops. Each year they raised two crops which they called ''little corn & melons  ''. The men cleared most of the year for farming. When they needed  transportation or mailing, they used canoes and horses. The horses were for mailing letters from people to people. The canoes were for getting across water. For shelter, they had little round houses with no windows, a narrow doorway, and a little hole at the top like a chimney. They communicated by newspapers and the language caddoan.
