with stars twinkling bright,

in the moonlight,

a child wishes upon a star.

A wish of love.

As he stares,

out into the open sky,

he remembers,

past hopes and dreams of love.

Never received.

Alone in this world,

his only wish,

is to be with another.

To feel the love,

that was promised to him.

A love,

that he had searched,

years for,

but never found.

A perfect match for him,

a one in a million.

A girl like him,

who has been searching,

for a man to be with her.

They will meet,
