And this would be Josh's vow or LeAnn's?????????????
This page will give visitors to the site an opportunity to tell their favorite LeAnn and/or Josh Stories.
Here's mine!
If you have a story you'd like to share, e-mail it to me at [email protected]
I'll add your story to the website so Josh & LeAnn will have a collection of memories from their friends and family. And, if you'd like to include a picture, I'll try to
publish those to the site, too.
It was Christmas of 2002 when I first met Josh. We were in Branson, Missouri and had 14 inches of snow fall the day after we arrived. It seemed to awaken Josh's inner child. Joe and I were going to go out for lunch, and our van was covered with snow. I thought since Josh was having such a good time playing in the snow he wouldn't mind cleaning the van off for me. When I went out to start the van, he had a huge snowball in his hands. He tossed it in the air, and it landed squarely on the top of my head. I guess I've mellowed with age, or perhaps snow was easier to deal with than Baby LeAnn's recycled lunch!
Best wishes, Josh & LeAnn, and I'll leave the soup dancing incident to another family member!
"Love Connection"
When we got married, we were doing pictures after the ceremony and there was a video tape being made. LeAnn and Michele were standing near each other and you can hear LeAnn say, "Is Love Connection on tonight?" To which Michele answered a very quick--"NO!"
So, LeAnn, now that you have made your own love connection, I certainly hope you won't need to watch that cheesey show anymore.
And as for you, Josh. Sure hope you know what you are getting into!! I won't say anymore than that!
Aunt Chrissy Pooh
How can I choose just one story about LeAnn? I still remember how hard I laughed at her "Top Ten List" of reasons she didn't e-mail the rest of the family, but I can't remember what the list said. Of course, there was the time she spit toothpaste over the railing in the condo onto our card game. Then there was her waitressing experience. Once when she was clearing dishes, she had stacked up several plates with silverware when one of the pieces of silverware dropped to the floor. Rather than ignoring it or leaving it there till later, she asked a customer, "Could you pick that up for me?"
But my all-time favorite stories are about LeAnn's driving examinations to get her license. Here's a rough transcription of one conversation during a driving test:
Examiner: So what part of town do you live in?
LeAnn: I live in [wherever she lived]
E: Oh, is that near . . . green arrow.
L: Green Arrow? I don't know the neighborhoods that well. I'm not sure where that is.
E: No, green arrow!
L: I don't think I've heard of the Green Arrow neighborhood before.
E: (Pointing at the traffic light) Green arrow! Turn left!
L: Oh! Sorry.
And Josh is such a great, funny guy; I wish I had more stories to tell about him, but I guess I'll have to know him a few more years first. I was laughing for a long time, though, when he told about how he should send a Mother's Day card to the mom of one of LeAnn's former boyfriends to thank her for raising such a moron so that Josh got a chance to date LeAnn.
I'm really glad you two got together, too. You're a great couple, and I pray God continues to bless and use you as husband and wife.
Much love, much respect,
Matt
