Christian poetry is much more than a great way to share your giftedness with others. It is a means of expressing our heart in prayer to God as well as guiding the minds of others into that which is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and praiseworthy. (Phil 4:8) Poetry is the means through which David the King expressed his heart and led the people of Israel in praise and adoration for many generations.
