British Monarch. Son of King Henry V and Catherine of France. He reigned as King of England and as King of France, from 1422 (at the age of 10 months) to 1461, and from 1470 until his murder in 1471.

Thomas Langton was Bishop of Winchester from 1493-1501, Chaplain to King Edward IV & King Richard III & Ambassador to France & Rome. Shortly before his sudden death, he was elected Archbishop of Canterbury.

British Monarch. Son of the Black Prince, succeeding to the throne in 1377, when he was just 10 years old. During the Peasant's Revolt of 1381, led by Wat Tyler, he promised them redress, a promise that he never fulfilled. After 1396, Richard began a tyrannical disposition, banishing or executing many of the leading statesmen. The opposition against him came to a head in 1399, when he was defeated by Bolingbroke, and was made a prisoner and died, possibly due to starvation, at Pontefract Castle
