| Cadbury Castle : Supposed to be the ruins of a place King Arthur had his headquarters at one time. John Leland, Henry VIII's chief antiquarian, said that local legend claimed that Arthur came to Cadbury Castle often. In his 16th century English he wrote : "The people can telle nothing ther but that they have hard say that Arture much resortid to Camelot." |

| King Arthur's Round Table : Located in Winchester Castle, on the west wall of the Great Hall hangs the tabletop of the legendary 'King Arthur's Round Table'. Both local and national folklore credit it with having resided in this building for some 1,500 years!
