New found love By: LeaMarie Rocket Disclaimer: I am in no way associated with the show and or game. Ash and company had just gotten into to town when Pikachu fell off of Ash's shoulder. "Pikachu!" Ash cried. "We should get him to a pokemon center and quick." Brock stated. Ash scooped up the unconscious pokemon and took off running with Misty and Brock right behind him. Ash burst through the doors of the pokemon center. "Please you've got to help my pikachu!" Ash cried setting Pikachu in front of Nurse Joy. She nodded and yelled into a microphone. "We need a stretcher for a small electric pokemon! STAT!" Four Chansey pushing a stretcher came out of the back room. They carefully picked up Pikachu and placed him on the stretcher and rushed him into the back room. "We'll do everything we can for it." Nurse Joy said following the Chansey. Ash, Misty, and Brock were in the weighting room. Misty was sitting in an over stuffed armchair, Brock was sleeping and taking up the entire couch, and Ash was pacing the floor. "Ash, sit down. You'll ware out your shoes." Misty complained. Ash came over and sat next to her. (Or should I say almost on top of her?) "I don't know what to do!" Ash wailed, tears streaking down his face. Misty put her arm around his shoulders trying to comfort him. "He's my bestfriend." Ash sobbed. "It'll be alright. Pikachu's strong. He'll be ok." Misty consoled. Ash just nodded. After a few minutes of silence, excepted for the occasional sniffle from Ash, the light with the deadly looking needle on it turned off. Ash and Misty were on there feet in seconds. "Your Pikachu's resting now." Nurse Joy said gently. "What was wrong with?" Misty asked. "It had a small bug that's been going around." Nurse Joy said with a smile. "Can we see him?" Ash asked. "Oh course." Pikachu was lying in a small bed. "Hey Pikachu how you feeling?" Ash asked smiling. He held on hand behind his back. "Pika pi Chu pika pi." "I'm glad you're feeling better. Misty and I chipped in and got you something." Ash said holding out a brightly wrapped gift. "Pika?" "Well open it and find out." Ash said with a laugh. Pikachu ripped through the paper. It was a bottle of ketchup. "Pika!" Pikachu cried. Ash laughed. "You're welcome Pikachu." Pikachu started lapping up the red liquid. Nurse Joy walked in. "You Pikachu's fine now. But it may need to rest for a while." Pikachu followed Ash and Misty out of the room. Pikachu started to yawn. "Maybe you'd better rest." Ash suggested. Pikachu nodded and jumped up beside Brock. "Well what do you want to do?" Misty asked Ash. "I don't know. It's too early to eat, and the movies aren't open yet." Ash out load. "Well we could always read." Misty said sarcastically. "Read? Hey! That's a great idea!" Ash responded. "Stay right hear." He said as he took off. "What in the world?" Misty asked out load. A few minutes latter, Ash came back with a basket, a blanket, and a book. "What are we going to do?" Misty asked him. "Go on a picnic!" He declared. "It's such a nice day, I thought we could go and...you...know, sit outside." He explained. Misty's face lit up at the suggestion. They walked outside of the center to find a nice quite spot to sit. Ash laid out the blanket and laid the basket next to it. Ash sat down on the blanket. Misty sat down next to him. As Ash began reading the book, Misty couldn't help but snuggle a little closer to him. After a few moments, she moved a little closer once again. After a while if she had moved any closer to Ash she would have been sitting on his lap. Ash looked at Misty, he noticed that she had moved closer to him. He told himself that she was just tying to get more comfortable or see the book a little better. (By the way was the story a fairy tail, about a handsome prince and a beautiful princess.) Meanwhile back in the center, Brock and Pikachu had finally woke up. "I wounded were Ash is." Brock commented. "Pika." Nurse Joy walked by. "Um...excuse me. The two people I was with, do you happen to know were they are?" "I think I saw them go outside." "Thank you." Brock said walking towards the exit. Brock and Pikachu looked all over for Ash and Misty. When they finally found them they were sitting with their backs towards them, and Misty was leaning up against Ash and Ash had his arm around Misty. Brock slowly walked away from the little seine. "I knew those two like each other." Brock said to Pikachu. "Pika pi." Pikachu agreed. "I liked that story." Misty said looking into Ash's eyes. "Yeah, me too." Ash said smiling. "Are you hungry? I packed us something to eat." Ash said. "I'm a little hungry." Misty admitted. Ash pulled the basket over and began pulling out French pasties and other French things. "Ash! You remembered!" Misty cried. Earlier in there travels she had said she like French foods. "Oh course. How could I forget?" Brock and Pikachu were board stiff, when Ash and Misty walked around the corner. "How long have you two been up?" Misty asked. "Oh, not very long." Brock lied. "So what do you want to do?" Ash asked. "There's a new movie out that I want to see." Brock said. "Yeah! Let's go to the movies!" Ash cheered like a four year old. The other three got a sweat droops. When they got to the movie, the bought some popcorn, sodas, and ketchup. The movie was a horror film. A couple of times during the movie, Misty ended up clinging to Ash, and barring her head in his shirt. Not that Ash minded. In fact Ash even pulled her into a hug. When they got back to the center it was time for them to get ready for bed. "I can't believe they only have one bathroom in this place." Ash said to himself. Just then Misty walked out of the bathroom. "Ash. I just wanted to tell you how much fun I had tonight." Misty said. "Yeah Me too." They stood there for a moment. Misty started walking away. "Misty?" she turned around. "Yes?" Ash suddenly seemed to change his mind. "Will you make sure Pikachu isn't eating anymore ketchup? I don't feel like getting fried because he had a nightmare." Misty seemed a little disappointed. "Um...sure." She said Turing to put on a smile. "Thanks you're the best!" Ash said as he disappeared into the bathroom. Misty sighed, she had a feeling that that's not what Ash was going to say. She walked back into the bunk room were Brock was already in his bunk. "What's wrong? You look like someone beat your Starmie." "Nothing. I'm just tired." She replied. She looked over at Pikachu who was still eating...you guessed it...ketchup! "Pikachu, Ash told me to take the ketchup away from you." Misty said. "Pika?" "He said it gives you nightmares.." Pikachu reluctantly handed over the bottle, as Ash came in. They said there goodnights and went to sleep. "Yahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!" Misty screamed, latter that night. Ash fell off his bunk. "What's wrong!?" Brock cried. Misty was still screaming. Ash shook her awake. It took a second for her to realize were she was and who was in front of her. Suddenly she through her arms around Ash. Ash tried to sooth the sobbing Misty. "It's alright. It was just a dream." Ash said gently. "But it was so real!" She sobbed. "Do you want to talk about it?" He asked. She nodded. "I'll get you something to drink." Brock volunteered. "Pika." Brock and Pikachu walked out the door. Misty took a deep breath and began telling Ash her dream. "It started out alright. We were walking down a read, arguing, when Team Rocket showed...* sniff * James...They...they..."Misty stopped sobbing harder. "It's okay." "Oh, Ash! They killed you!" that was it for Misty. She started crying, her heart out. "Misty, It was just a dream. I'm here. See?" He said pulling away so she could see him. She threw herself agents him sobbing. Ash just sat their holding and comforting her. After a bit she quitted. Ash looked down at her. She was asleep. Brock came back with a glass of water. "Is she okay?" he asked. "I think so." Ash slowly lowered her, trying not to wake her. This however was unsuccessful. She woke up just enough to tightly grip his shirt and murmur. "Don't leave me." Ash looked over at Brock and pikachu who were already asleep. He shrugged and lay down next to her. She snuggled up to him. Ash was the first one up the next morning. He lay there watching her sleep. She looked so peaceful. So happy. He watched her for a few more minutes. She slowly opened her eyes. She looked at Ash for a moment. Her face lit up. "Ash?" she asked groggily. "I'm here." He whispered. She ran her fingers down his face. "We should get up." He whispered. She nodded Ash and Misty got up and got cleaned up. Ash noticed that Misty had barley left his side. "Are you still scared?" He asked her. She looked away. "Yes." She said softly. Ash smiled. She cares! She really cares! "We don't have to leave right away." He suggested. "I don't think Pikachu's still a hundred present." Misty looked at Ash and for the seconded time that, day she smiled. "Hey! How long have you two been up?" Brock asked suddenly appearing. "Not very long." Ash answered. "Um...listen, Ash. I have some stuff I need to do. I'll catch-up with you later okay?" "Pika!" "He said catch-up not ketchup!" Ash said with a laugh. "Yeah sure Brock. Have fun." Brock nodded and walked away. "Pike pika chu chu." "Yeah sure go ahead." "Pikachu!" Pikachu cried happily. "What did he say?" Misty asked. "He wanted to know if he could just hang around hear today. So it looks like it's just you and me." Ash said putting his arm around her waist. "Just you and me?" Misty asked seductively. Ash smiled. "Yep. What do you want to do?" He asked. Misty though for a moment. "Let's go to the beach." "The beach?" "The beach and make sure you bring sun lotion." She said mysteriously. Since it was a weekday, they had the beach to themselves. Misty took off her shirt and shorts to reveal a small red two piece swim suit. Ash looked stunned. "Is this the bike obsessed water trainer?" "Ash? What?" Ash jumped from his thoughts and realized he had been starring. "Are you ok? You were spacing out. Is my suit to reveling?" Misty asked starting to get nervous. "No! It's just you look...wow." Ash said in well wow. Misty blushed. Ash pulled his shirt off. "Let's hit the water!" He cried. "Hold it! Misty said pulling out bottle. "You don't want to get burnt do you?" Misty asked waving the bottle. She spread out a blanket. "Lay down." She insurrected. He did as he was told. He laid down on his stomach resting his head on his arms. Misty sat down gently on his lower back and began massaging the lotion into his skin. "That feels wonderful." Ash murmured. Misty leaned forward her stomach just touching his back, and whispered. "Roll over and I'll get your front." He rolled over and she begins rubbing the lotion over his chest stomach and face. Ash could barley keep himself from kissing her. It was like a force was pulling him to her. "My turn." Misty said. She flopped down on her stomach. Ash took the bottle and pored a little of the lotion on her back. He was surprised by how soft her skin was. "It's like silk." He thought. Misty was surprised on how strong, but gentle his hands were. Misty sighed happily. "Done." Ash said. "Don't forget my front." Misty said, rolling over. Ash looked surprised. "You want ME to do your front?" Ash asked, his voice going up. Misty nodded. "You don't want me to get burnt do you?" She asked innocently. Ash poured a little lotion in his handed. He rubbed it on her arms, legs, and stomach. Ash didn't know exactly how much she wanted done so he started on her face. "Hold still." He said gently. He had just finished whipping a trek of white off of her nose when she suddenly leaned forward and kissed him. Ash was shocked. He leaned into the kiss, and started kissing her back. Misty wrapped her arms around his neck. He wrapped his arms around her waist. Misty released the kiss first. Both of them were out of breath. "I've wanted to do that for a long time." Ash said still trying to breathe normally. "Me too." Ash leaned froward and kissed her again. By the time, thy got back it was time to got to bed. They climbed into their bunks. "Night Misty." "Night Ash." Both fell asleep thinking of each other and sun lotion. Brock and Pikachu smiled. Things were working out just as they had planned. "Come on!" Brock said. "Wake up Ash! It's time to go!" Ash slowly rolled off the bunk, and walked to the bathroom. He walked right into Misty. "Oh! Misty, I'm sorry." Ash apologized. "It's okay." Misty said. "I'll see you back at the bunks." Misty said. "Misty?" "Yes?' Ash walked closer to her and kissed her. A little shocked but she started kissing him back. Ash broke the kiss and walked into the bathroom. Misty was still smiling when she got back to there room. "Looks like you ran into Ash." Brock commented. "How did you know I ran into him?" Misty asked him. "It's clear that you two like each other." Brock said. "It is?" "Yep." Misty looked around the room. Suddenly she realized what had been going on. "You two left us alone on purpose!" Brock looked a little embarrassed. "Well...um...did it wok?" Now it was Misty's turn to look embarrassed. "It'll take that as a yes." Ash walked in. "Is everybody ready to go?" He asked. Misty looked a little nerves, but nodded her head. They started on their journey once again. After a few minutes, they came to a crossroad. "Let's go right.' Misty said. "I want to go left." Ash complained. "RIGHT!" "LEFT!" "Hold it!" Brock yelled. He pulled out a coin. "Call it in the air Ash." He flipped it. "HEADS!" The coin landed heads. "All right we go left!" They started walking. Both Ash and Misty still fighting. When suddenly they heard. "Prepare for trouble!" "Oh no! Those voices!" Ash cried. "And make it double!" "Now hand over the Pikachu or else!" Meowth demanded interrupting the speech. "Or else what?" Ash challenged. James and Jessie pulled out small handguns. Ash and the rest took a step back. Pikachu sighted. He couldn't let them get killed because of him. Pikachu started walking towards Team Rocket. "Pikachu no." Ash said very sternly. Pikachu didn't listen to Ash. Ash took off running towards the pikachu. Suddenly a shoot was fired. Ash felt the bullet him. Misty screamed. "Ash! Noooooo!" Thanks for the help Tiki!
