| The Year --- Dedicated to Uncle Eric This year has been a full one, and there will be more experiences in the year to come. Seniors are leaving once again. We will move up one more grade, one more time for meeting new people. The time to say good-bye has come, and it will be around once more, eventually. I know. This was the year that it all really started. It�s all history now, but things to remember for the future: a love will come and go, as will a friend. One more poem will be written, one more song will be sung, one more person will die. All added to a collection in an array of events in your mind. Another stranger will pass you by, one more opportunity, regret, one happy moment will be when the sun shines through the darkness. There�s more traveling to be done, more laughter ahead. More memories, along with more sorrows. This summer will bring tanning to those who want a more attractive look. Others will stay inside and think. And write. And others still will go out and live life to the max in their own way. There is still more knowledge, more wisdom, more fun, more work to be done. Another full year has passed by, look forward to the time you have ahead, do not worry about the past. Don�t forget it, but don�t dwell on it. We can�t do anything about it anymore. But the future we can influence. You must know how to help yourself in any situation. Learn from the past and shape the future. Don�t try to re-do what happened yesterday, like I said, it�s History. |
