Man at the Carnival
1/04

Do you remember the man at the carnival?
His eyes held sadness
His mouth held wiseness
His footsteps carried slow
His dress not for cold
He watched in awe
As the children passed
Their happy faces
In his laugh
Who is he?
Where has he been?
What has he gone through?
How has he lived?
He has stories
Listen you shall
But all he really cares
Is that you ask, who was that man at the carnival?
