Our first night camping!
August 25th - Saco, Maine
We hiked through a bog, which reminded us of a scene from Star Wars or Lord of the Rings. That night we stayed at a KOA a bit nicer than our first campsite.
August 26th - Searsport, Maine
We had a great ocean view at the Searsport Campsite. Today we hiked through Moose Point Park where there was a striking lack of moose.
August 27th - Acadia, Maine
After an hour of circling Acadia, we eventually found our campground at Blackwoods. Today we went whale watching in Bar Harbor - wow. Despite the cold, I was amazed to see these majestic creatures.
August 28th - Acadia, Maine
We spent a long day climbing Champlain Mountain followed by mountain biking to Seal Cove Pond. Once I thought I wouldn't fall and kill myself, it was actually kind of fun. Acadia is spectacular.
