Definition of LEAH:
Anyone can join this group, but you must agree to adhere to our definitive standards which follow:
    Teaching is modeling behavior.
Appropriate teaching is modeling appropriate behavior.
Christian teaching is modeling Christian behavior.

Our Purpose and Mission:

The purpose of our homeschooling group is to provide support to Christian homeschooling families.  The mission of this group is to glorify Jesus Christ through our homeschools.  Our purpose, as homeschooling parents, is to teach our children to glorify Jesus Christ.  The education of our children is our first priority.

This group is intended to provide a safe place for our children to play and learn.  Safety is not only their physical beings in tact, but also guarding their minds.

In creating a safe education place which glorifies Jesus Christ, we must certainly make sure that we are modeling appropriate Christian behavior.  Behavior is how you act, what you do, what you say, how you present yourself and what you allow.

Christ-Centered :

With the understanding that we all come from various churches and have our theological differences, this group is Christ-centered.  Teachings of this group will glorify Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

Christ-Centered Dress:

We need to guard our children frfom seeing too much skin; belly skin, leg skin, chest skin.  Cover it up!  We cannot tell anyone what to wear, some would say too leniant, some would say too strict.  It is the job of the Holy Spirit of God to teach you all spiritual things.  However, we can set a dress code for group activities.
*** Blouses should not reveal cleavage or shadow from the front or sides.
*** Shorts and Skirts should be longer than the middle finger when arms are placed at sides.
>> These guidelines were taken from the public school dress code. <<
Since we all have the common purpose of placing our approval on this group as a place of safety and learning, then no one will be offended if asked to cover their skin.

Christ-Centered Conduct:

When in a class setting, if the students (or moms) are louder than the teacher, please hush them.
When in a class setting, if the teacher is wrangling more than she is teaching, please help her.
If a child is having a behavior-challenging day, please sit with them and help focus their attention.
Since we all have the common purpose of placing our approval on this group as a safe place of learning, no one will be offended if asked to sit with their child during class.
