I'm a CPA and love my job - Manager of an Accounting Department at a small local financial institution. I have a staff of 5 that is the greatest bunch of gals in the universe!
I'm a single mom, altho you could say that I'm "retired from active parenting". I have 2 wonderful sons, Paul (29), and Eric (21). Paul is married to Tammy - I couldn't have dreamed of a better mate for my son! Besides my boys, I am the "mom" to a 12 yr old male cocker spaniel - Scooter. He thinks he owns the place, and most of the time, he gets away with acting like it!
I'm a former spouse of a retired Marine Corps Master Sergeant. We were married his entire Marine career. That career saw us living in Millington TN (2 times, one year each), Beaufort, SC (2 times, 3 yrs and 5 yrs) Kaneohe Bay, HI (almost 5 yrs) before his twilight tour in the Washington DC area, where I stayed following our divorce. I like the area very much, altho I do miss my family in Minnesota, where I grew up.
I'm currently involved with a wonderful man, Tom. He's also divorced after a long marriage. We met on Yahoo Personals, and have been seeing each other since February, 2003. He has 2 wonderful daughters that I care for very much.
In my spare time, I like to cross stitch. I've posted pictures of some finished projects, as well as some works in progress.
