| Well if you asked me what my favorite sports was..unquestionably I would answer hockey. It has always been my first love. I have loved it since the moment I watched my first game. The team of have always cheered for were the Toronto Maple Leafs, but though now I have become a fan of the Philadelphia Flyers. That's really tough to be a fan of the Leafs considering I live in Chicago. They've (evil Hawks fans) have tried to convert me, but I have stayed strong. | I have also always been a big fan of Soviet/Russian hockey. So to the top is Slava Fetisov and to the right is Vladislav Tretiak. Probably the two greatest players the Soviet Union ever produced. Even though I'm an American I will always cheer for Russia in any event they are in.Of course we all now Bill McCreary was wrong and THAT was a goal in 2002. | Of course I can't forget my favorite player, Danny Markov. He was at one time a Maple Leaf. But as the old saying goes, "Glory fades". He is now with the Philadelphia Flyers who went all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals this year. So good for him! I have other favorite players too. |
