19 February I have not updated for a while due to time constraints and other hassles, but I have been motivated to do an update after a display of gross incompitance. Last nights meeting at Western Springs should have been a good show, after 3 weeks away from the place most people were very keen to get back in there. But, the meeting was cut short after event 6 due to the track breaking up from event 1. The new speedway season is almost here! Alfter a long absence I have been prompted to do an update. Since my I last updated, there has been a major shift in the online forums. Steviewalsh.com shut there forum down, but a excelent new forum has risen out of the ashes. I have now fixed got the link to the drivers page in the right place on the left side bar. I have put a link to the drivers page on the right hand sidebar. Not where I wanted it to go but at least there is now a link to it. I have got the driver page redy to go, I just have to upload it and then create a link to it from this page. I have added another good TQ site to the sidebar. Wheeliesraceing.com is the official website for TQ 72.
25 May 2005 It has been a while since I last updated, and thought that I should. Not a lot has been happening lately so I dont have a lot to say in this update. The drivers page is slowley being worked on and I will have it online when I have finished entering driver's details. I am slowly working on the drivers page. I have got the drivers names and numbers and I will knock up that page this week. As it is the off season, I will have to find something to put up occasionaly untill november when the season starts again. I said I would and now I have a working link to Percy's website. I have now added a guest book and hit counter plus there is now a weather report at the bottom of the screen. I know I have been saying this for a while now, but I will get the side bar links working by Friday. The aim of this site is to help raise the profile of the battles that the TQ section faces. All most people want at a race meeting is at least 2 heats and a feature. And to be treated with the same respect as other classes. How ever on more than one occasion this season the TQ section has lost there feature race to another section. For example, the recent John Webster Memorial meeting held at Waikaraka Park, the TQ section was told that the TQ's and Midgets would loose there feature due to time restraints, however the Midgets got to run a feature, we did not. |
