The Bubba’s World Famous Pecan Pie

2/3
cup sugar
dash
salt
1 cup
light corn syrup
1/3
cup butter or margarine, melted
1
cup pecan halves
Pastry
for single-crust pie
Preheat
oven to 350º
In
a mixing bowl beat eggs slightly with a rotary beater or fork. Add sugar and salt; stir until
dissolved. Stir in corn syrup and
melted butter or margarine; mix well.
Stir in the pecan halves. Place
a pastry-lined 9-inch pie plate on oven rack; pour in pecan mixture. Cover edge of pie with foil. Bake @ 350º for 25 minutes. Remove foil; bake 25 minutes more or until a
knife inserted off-center comes out clean.
Cool on a wire rack. Cover;
chill to store. Makes 10 servings
